But German mountain units were much more important than naval units for example, so they deserve a place in this module. Not the end of the world, when they're not in, just would like to know. Yes I am agree with your comments and I was also surprise to see lot of organisations in the TOE not really useful, but I maintains to have more infos about partisans that can be useful to create ambush untill the Paris liberation...and, who are you old forwards friend to say that I am old, I am just 60+ but this picture of Blücher Marshal was minimum 72 years old when he meet Wellington on the Waterloo battlefield !!
Thomm
Back once more to the info on the preorder page. Meanwhile I found the following information at: https://www.battlefront.com/cmrt-upgrades/ Current version is v2.00 (Game Engine 4). The first release of Red Thunder used Engine 3, therefore Upgrading to Game Engine 4 is the option for you. To find out what version you have, launch CMRT and look in the lower right for the Version and Engine numbers. Click below for more information. So there are patches and then there is an engine upgrade that you have to pay for. I think it would be most helpful for people with the original DVD to outline the upgrade and patch procedure on the preorder page. Several German Heer mountain divisions were fighting at the Eastern Front in 1944/45. Will they be included in the TOE? I'm never sure if I understood everything that was written here correctly, but Gebirgsjäger are mentioned in the TOE: .. German Army Infantry Grenadier Battalion 45 Volksgrenadier Battalion Gebirgsjager Battalion Grenadier Ersatz Battalion Aufklarung Battalion (Gebirgs) .. German Waffen SS Infantry Grenadier Battalion 45 Grenadier Battalion 44 Gebirgsjager Battalion Grenadier Ersatz Battalion Aufklarung Battalion (Gebirgs)

Halftracks are not that cramped when the 10 soldiers and their gear which they usually carry aren't in there. Yes they are, that space is now taken up by a whopping great mortar! The ammo is also stored in inconvenient locations.....Hence the reduced ROF.
kohlenklau
I haven't pre-ordered yet. Can anyone provide confirmation of the schwimmwagen as a purchasable vehicle?

Just download the latest full installer. Then you don't need to install by bits and pieces. To find it look in your order history for your most recent purchase of the base game or engine upgrade - that order should have a link.

As long as you have an up-to-date installation you already have 100% of the files you need." Very confusing! Please allow me to ask: I still have the original DVD from back then, and a new system. If I want to use this, I have to install two (free) patches, first CMRT v1.03, then CMRT v2.02, right? Best regards Thomm Correct there will be no specific download for the module. When it is released there will be a new patch released. That patch will contain the module's content. Your FR license key will "unlock" the content. As Ian mentioned, the best way to install the game ow is to use the all-in-one full game installer. Depending on when you purchased the base game that will either be your base game purchase or your 4.0 Upgrade purchase. As soon as the module is completed those downloads will also contain the new module. Actually, those will probably be uploaded before the patch by a few minutes.

There's more space in the halftrack than in a foxhole or a trench. You could fire that thing as quickly as you could open the ammo boxes. Here's a video that shows a US mortar crew firing the 81mm from a foxhole. It's very cramped, but they have no trouble. Notice how the guy firing it keeps a whole batch of bombs on his other arm, letting him drop them down the tube very fast. https://www.criticalpast.com/video/65675037793_81-mm-mortar-crews_mortar_firing-shells_American-soldiers Edited February 5, 2021 by Bulletpoint

Shame.....Depending on the crew swapping options we mght be able to make our own, but it would be cool to see them in a patch down the road. I can provide plenty of photographic evidence of their use in Bagration, quite often in what we might think of today as Special Forces units.
