Just ended reading the TOE list and, no Panther F ... :( Was one of the vehicles that I would have loved to see and play with the most. Oh well.

Other thing that I saw, is that in the equipment section ( btw someone should recheck that list, there is a lot of vehicles mentioned that are already in the base game, like the Jagdpanzer IV; or there are some repetitions of vehicles, like the SU-57, etc...), in the german infantry weapons, the germans got a decent roster of captured weapons but I didnt saw the Ppsh-41 among them. I hope the volkstrumm still get acces to it, even if it isnt with its german designation.

P.D. Also, minor nitpick, but some of the designations of the weapons are not from rifles, but from pistols, (G612R, for example, which it refers to the Mosin-Nagant revolver, or G615R, the Tokatev pistol), yet they have G in the name. Shouldnt that G, that stands for Gewher, be a R or P?

Edit: Other thing that i just noticed. No Jagdtiger? I find it weird considering that the model is already done for FB, and, AFAIK it saw service in the east as well right?

I would have loved the Panther F et al as well.

With regard to the JgPz IV, there are no versions with the L/70 in RT, but they arrive in FR.

But I have to admit that I was already curius about the armoured german naval grenadiers....

Hmmm, on a second though....I am not sure if I mixed them up with the regular naval grenadiers....

In 1945 two infantry divisions were raised using naval personnel.  These were authorized the standard Infantry Division 45 structure and equipment.  The infantry / fusilier battalions in these divisions used the Grenadier Battalion 45 organization, same as a Heer division.

Oh....thanks! Didn't know this.

How they performed?

I meant the ones with the short cannon, that were present in the list with its three variations (early, mid, late). But, as of now, it has been changed, together with the SU-57 repititions, so kudos to BF staff for the quick correction.

Thought they should definitivily keep re-looking the list for equipment already available in the base game and repetitions, specially in the german halftrack section. ;)

Hey they just added that in! Awesome! On a side note the Armored Luftwaffe Divisions... is this the Herman Goering Division? I believe they did see some action on the Eastern Front.

It could very well be the Hermann Göring (HG) Panzer Division. The HG division was transferred from Italy earlier in 1944 to the Warsaw AO where it was involved in the Praga, a suburb to Warsaw, tank battles in late July and early august 1944, just east of the Vistula river against the  Soviet 2nd Tank Army. I highly recommend Douglas E. Nashs book: “From the Realm of a Dying Sun” part one.

Was the Panther Ausf F  produced ? I thought it was due to be built near wars end, maybe a few trial schmalturm were fitted to standard Panthers? Interested to hear anymore

Kinda. It started production very late into the war and only a handful were completed by late april. And it was mostly the hull that was produced, as the production of the new turrets, the so called "Schmalturm" never kicked off; thought it is possible that some saw service in the battle of Berlin, even with the new turrets; thought most likely as hybrids, having the turret of the old Panther G instead of the new ones.

It is somewhat the same situation as with the Maus, vehicles that althought they didnt really saw any service, except maybe in Berlin; they have been represented in media about the war so much, that a Late war German army without them just feels wrong; at least in my case.

Hopefully one day we will get a vehicle expansion pack ala BN with prototipes or vehicles that just missed the war, such as, apart from the Panther F and the Maus, the IS-3 or the T-44 , or the King Tiger with an 105mm cannon; and so on.

One can dream

Apologies for the TO&E confusion.  That was a placeholder draft and it accidentally got uploaded instead of the real deal.  To clear up some of the confusion this caused...

Yes, LW has access to Airborne, Field Divisions, HG Panzer, and scraped together Fliegerhorst units.  The transfer of HG from Italy to the Eastern Front was phased so not everything is available the first month.

Partisans are definitely a part of the Module.  I'll get that fixed.  They dropped off for a rather silly reason that you don't need to know about :)  For those of you familiar with the Uncons/Fighters in CMSF2, Partisans are somewhat similar in that you can buy different sized formations with some internal choices centered around weapons.  Then use Specialist Teams as needed to flesh things out the way you want.  With Partisans, pretty much anything is fair game!

The Panther F was never produced, therefore it's not included.

The list of NEW Soviet forces is, as you can see, very short.  That's because structurally they didn't make any higher level changes.  However, we made extensive updates to pretty much everything.  Since CMRT came out the Russians released source material for TO&E research and (not surprisingly) that changed a lot of details.  Those fixes are available for everybody once the Module is released, even if not purchased.  However, we did incorporate some equipment allocation changes that happened later in the war.  It's just not the sort of stuff that we put onto the website.

Steve did talk about giving us some of that a few years back.

I shall continue to remind him whenever the chance arises. 🙏

I do want to have a Fantasy Pack for CMRT that includes things like the Panther F, IS-3, Maus, etc.  I can't promise it will see the light of day, but for sure I want it to!

Maybe we should do like that guy did for FI and lobby hard for the Fantasy Pack. Be right back, gonna invest into Gamestop and help to the downfall of Wall Street "suits" in the name of Armored vehicle representation.

In a more serious note, Steve, If I may ask, the lack of the Jagdtiger from the TOE is also a mistake of that provisional draft; or is that going to be the case in the final game?. If is that so, may I ask why is not being included?
