MikeyD
For the unobservant there is a Youtube link at the bottom of the first post showing stuff in action. I say that because I missed the link first read-through, myself!
bisu
Nice new units indeed, but there will be no new campaigns nor scenarios nor any other additional content in the pack if i have understood correctly. And the price will be 20 bucks? Well, I know, I know the purchase is not obligatory but.. Does the amount of work needed for creation of a handful of units justify charging more than 1/3 of a price of a full game?? Just wonderin'..

Raging Al
Captured French kit including the Char B1 and APC's. Could France 1940 be just around the corner?
Bulletpoint
Sounds great, I hope for a new campaign featuring these things too Oh, and if tanks are the remedy for machinegun bunkers, what's the cure for ATG-bunkers?
Bulletpoint
Will the Churchill Tank's integrated heater for tea water finally be modeled in realistic detail?
Warts 'n' all
Some great looking AFV's. And a nice informative video from Chris. His comment about the AVRE's reloading time sounds spot on to me. The Petard was both slow and dangerous to reload if under fire. I also love the Unic AFVs. They looked so old fashioned in comparison to most vehicles by 1944.
Macisle
Captured French kit including the Char B1 and APC's. Could France 1940 be just around the corner? My first thought upon seeing them, too. Great job, BF! Love the Sherman Crab and the Char B1 looks outstanding. Here's hoping for an eventual CMBOF.
rocketman
I really hope there will be scenarios and campaigns with the pack so we get to play with these as soon as possible (as I'm not inte QBs).

Does the amount of work needed for creation of a handful of units justify charging more than 1/3 of a price of a full game?? Just wonderin'.. Lets see: Button and functionality for Crab mine clear ('clear mines') graphic for chains (static & rotating) Logic for mines detonating (and graphics, although this might be already there) logic to reverse turret smoke/dust generation Logic for Petard mortar on AVRE, reload etc graphics for same weapons stats for same need I go on? I do hope this isn't just the $10 for v3.0 debate again. I have heard it say that the components for an Iphone are worth about $20 (in bulk). I don't recall any whining on Apple websites! If you don't like it, don't buy it. They do not have a stranglehold on you - the game doesn't stop working if you don't buy! I will be!
ChappyCanuck
With the addition of all the flame vehicles, it is strange to see the Wasp omitted from the list
James Crowley
A very impressive list - larger and more varied than I had anticipated for a pack. Some interesting, if rather random, inclusions particularly the U304(f) of which I was completely unaware and the up-armoured Churchill. And a very nice demonstration from Chris, highlighting them. I also hope that there will be some scenarios made available to showcase these new additions, as most of them will not show up well in random selection QB's, I suspect.
jtsjc1
Now just try firing the 155s at the bunkers like in Aachen.
MikeyD
While looking over Brit army vehicle lists in Normandy it was discovered that the majority of tanks in some British Churchill regiments were the uparmored MkIII, outnumbering MkVI. That surprised Steve greatly! Dang, I can't locate my references now. I'd be able to give you a vehicle count for each regiment. What I do recall was there were zero uparmored MkIII among backup replacement vehicles so as the war went on the number of vehicles would drop due to attrition. And the Guards had none.
MikeyD
When you start looking for U304(f) in Normandy pictures they start showing up! Usually in the background (or in pieces) uncommented on.
sburke
where do they tend to show up? Wouldn't happen to be with 21st PzD would it?
James Crowley
Hi MikeyD Any ideas as to the number of U304's produced in total? Chamberlain and Doyles encyclopaedia lists them but gives no production figures. I must say that the information in regard to the up-armoured Churchills surprises me as well. Very scant mention in the few Churchill books that I have.
BLSTK
Very happy to finally be able to clear mines. Clearing the mines has never been the problem. Surviving them is a different story. Keep the goodies comin', BFC!
