Nice new units indeed, but there will be no new campaigns nor scenarios nor any other additional content in the pack if i have understood correctly. And the price will be 20 bucks?

Well, I know, I know the purchase is not obligatory but.. Does the amount of work needed for creation of a handful of units justify charging more than 1/3 of a price of a full game??

Just wonderin'..

could be right, but I don't think I heard anyone actually mention a price yet.

Lets see:

Button and functionality for Crab mine clear ('clear mines')

graphic for chains (static & rotating)

Logic for mines detonating (and graphics, although this might be already there)

logic to reverse turret

smoke/dust generation

Logic for Petard mortar on AVRE, reload etc

graphics for same

weapons stats for same

need I go on?

I do hope this isn't just the $10 for v3.0 debate again.

I have heard it say that the components for an Iphone are worth about $20 (in bulk). I don't recall any whining on Apple websites! If you don't like it, don't buy it. They do not have a stranglehold on you - the game doesn't stop working if you don't buy!

I will be!

A very impressive list - larger and more varied than I had anticipated for a pack.

Some interesting, if rather random, inclusions particularly the U304(f) of which I was completely unaware and the up-armoured Churchill.

And a very nice demonstration from Chris, highlighting them.

I also hope that there will be some scenarios made available to showcase these new additions, as most of them will not show up well in random selection QB's, I suspect.

While looking over Brit army vehicle lists in Normandy it was discovered that the majority of tanks in some British Churchill regiments were the uparmored MkIII, outnumbering MkVI. That surprised Steve greatly! Dang, I can't locate my references now. I'd be able to give you a vehicle count for each regiment. What I do recall was there were zero uparmored MkIII among backup replacement vehicles so as the war went on the number of vehicles would drop due to attrition. And the Guards had none.
