Lethaface
SPOILER! Just finished A war without mercy against @BletchleyGeek and we had a blast! Severe house2house fighting, PaK fronts, Hetzer lines, tank breakthroughs with actual tank companies, flank turning, getting counter attacked by a dozen Panthers with ample infantry support, it's all in there. I think it was the most complete battle I've ever played. It did cost quite some energy though lol. Thanks @ASL Veteran (IIRC it is one of yours). Trivia: Over 1000 casualties, ~50 tanks KO'ed (and several more combat ineffective), one year playtime. Who knows if I ever make an AAR out of this. It would surely be worthy of it, but playing the game took a year already (PBEM) and I guess making a proper AAR would take a similar time. Duel with a Panther (it is barely visible). The battle around the Church was very very bloody. German counter attack was barely held off: Post view breakthrough area across the rail line: Edited September 14, 2021 by Lethaface

That's Singling (recognised it straight away).....Whoever made that map did a really nice job! PS - Looks like you did rather better than Creighton Abrams. Vacillator
Just suggested and started A Muddy Affair as a PBEM with a good friend in Texas, so I could not bring myself to look at the video. Anyway I'm playing Axis. And with that I should not look at the forum for perhaps a month or so .

jamxo
Thanks both! Like I mentioned in the CMBN screenshot thread, it is mostly thanks to modders and ReShade I can get things looking extra nice Enjoying the cold bleak atmosphere in CMFB very much.
Bud Backer
From a battle with a friend I’ve called Hide and Seek. No terrain objectives. It’s literally us trying to find, fix and destroy each other on 15 square kilometres of map…

Equal forces, 1818 points (I think "Small" battle size). This is a QB on the Stoumont master map. Thanks for the giant campaign (and single player scenario options)... from what I can tell, you've single handedly doubled the user made content for CMFB! Also, should mention, love the puns... "Bullingen China Shop" is pure genius!
Warts 'n' all
@37mm A good little video. This campaign deserves all publicity it can get. Now that you've thrown down the gauntlet perhaps other video makers will pick up the ball and run with it. Erwin
Xnt video. Played this well-designed mission twice and it is really is nail-biting when approaching the buildings and trying to winkle out the defenders. Note how one has more than enuff troops - it's a 3:1 attack. But, the US AI plan acquits itself well. For those who prefer infantry-only scenarios this is a really good one. And it isn't over at the end of the video. One still has to go on and capture another objective.
