I have the feeling that this kind of problem occurred on a regular basis recently and it would be understandable if the new pbem ++ system requires this. 
 
Not just here in the forum but on the few good men forum too. Plus I had  2 instances in my direct surroundings where this problem occurred and could be solved as in this case. 
So maybe a little note at the right place could help people to get it solved faster. At least the people at the help desk should add this one to their troubleshooting routine. 
 

well, NOW it is fine.
The hotseat line is there now and works as usual. I coulda swore I hit the hotseat line before and got the PBEM++.
But it could be the 106F outside.

This file was from january 2021, so something happened here. Your turn.
Edit: I tried to recreate the same date and region of the file in the editor but the MG doesn´t appear.
But the fact that the game still loaded the correct model means that it is still in the game, though not available via quick battle nor editor.

I guess if you're used to them for so long they're good, but I came up with some that I feel are better, and allow me to make sweeping movements on a couple axis at the same time. Yeah I just swap the hotkeys from a different CM game and that works, but I always forget where to place it so I have like 5 hotkey files per game folder.

Finally I have it installed through Steam. Yep, that also means I can play it on Linux 😉

Roger that. My old *** got mugged by a pack of mangy uncons. I’m sure you are seeing what I am trying to do with my Americans ?  Not sure that worked.
I am really quite bad at commanding uncons. They have no skills, no marksmanship, low ammo and really nothing but big brass balls.  Yours OTOH, did quite well in CQB so I just learned a nuanced lesson with them.

I would stay away from AMD graphics cards - they have a ton of driver issues.

Not sure I'm adding much here, but I've been playing CM (all WW2 titles) exclusively on the laptop below for a few years now.  It is begining to show it's age, but has never failed me.  Admittedly I paid over double your starting price for it as new.  It does get a little noisy and hot at times (mostly during loading the game or a scenario, not while playing the scenario).  And it takes a while to load, particulalry for RT and BN, perhaps partly due to the wadge of mods I have.

Per Matrix/Slitherine’s Tournament Rules, the first round is totally random; after that, they match by scoring ladder position (1 vs. 2; 3 vs. 4; etc.).  The only exception to that is they will not match two players who have already faced one another in that particular tournament.

The 'demo functionality' does exist on Steam. If you have not seen one it's because the developer/publisher made the choice to not propose a demo.

That's the same glitch I had with the 'running score'. But don't worry it will correct itself and when you finish your games it will be the final score.
Now just get on with suppressive fires and take those objectives! 😉

"Just FYI, a bug ticket has been created to track this issue: "flashing white screen when explosions occur in front of camera/player" . The OpenGL dev team is currently looking into it."
If you have any information on which OpenGL functions/calls/extensions are used during explosions we should pass it along to help them narrow it down.
CM:CW gets the "Out of Memory" breaking error with AMD drivers after 22.6.1., if you have any ideas on that one we should pass it along while we have the AMD team attention, although we should probably create a separate thread and Bug tracker for that.  One thing at a time.
 

Good for you!, The round 3 scenario feels like a torture. 
Well, got be more polite. This one looks like a fun scenario in single player mode, but it is not a good idea to pick this in a PBEM
With Soviet BMP-2s park in front of the place where the US reinforcement pop up, I lost the interests to play the game, I just hit done after opening the file in the last couple turns.

I don't have any special favourites when it comes to the game but I enjoy the game itself. I still got that old adrenaline rush watching that play.
 
Of course, Scottish folks like myself (i.e. OLD) are particularly fond of  this moment of glory from our own history...
(And before that, I used to think that Archie Gemmill was overrated and constantly complained that he got picked to play for the national team. All was forgiven.
 

The response we're seeing from many on this thread is why we don't get more bones threads. It's nothing new for those that remember the response to the very first CMBN screenshot with the Tiger Tank.

This place does have a special community and when people go missing it feels like missing a friend.
I went to some old threads back when Black Sea was coming out and there was a few Russian posters giving some great insight into Russian equipment. I don't see them posting anymore and sad to think that some might have been conscripted into a war they didn't choose. Not trying to get into politics in this thread. Just hope everyone is doing alright.

Yes sadly I think that's the case.  I found the obituary John mentioned, same name, same home address but I won't link it as it has other family details.  And John and I found other information elsewhere pointing to the same conclusion.  Like John I'm hoping we've got this wrong, and I'd like nothing better than Andy posting to say so.
But if we're right, it's such a shame as Andy was one of the nicest guys on the forum.  Always helpful and generous with his time, not to mention sending me model parts and kits (which I think may have been his major passion, you may have seen photos of his huge collection).  Anyway, I've been missing him for almost a year now and will continue to miss him...
Hope we're wrong Andy.
