  1. So what we are concluding is that it is spaced/stand-off armour of unknown thickness, but apparently of no special composition, with storage boxes built into the voids.....Perhaps excepting on the glacis?
  2. Just had a look at the map, it is indeed impressive, look forward to seeing what you both have done with it.
  3. I use several windows, but the effect's the same.....TBH I mostly just refer to the INTEL codes, with occasional wistful glances at the reinforcement schedule!
  4. It was a teeny bit more than indirect fires.....My comments aren't based on any 'conspiracy theory' they are based on a US account of the event, posted by an individual connected to forces on the ground.
  5. The facts surrounding the event are rather more complex than you imply.....Either you know that and you are taking the ****, or you don't know it and you should. Suffice it to say that were the Russians to pull the same sort of dirty trick on the SDF, or other US backed forces, the world would never hear the end of it.
  6. It's the one at the top, the T-40S (good spot on the headlights, I think they fell off, there seems to be the remnants of a mount in the correct spot).....I've only just discovered that it shouldn't have the bloody trim-vane myself (by looking at that same picture), see my mutterings here: The central hinge/actuator is still present on the upper-hull plate, but the other four hinges do not appear to have ever been fitted.....I'm going to have to put a tarp on the front deck of my model. Moral of this story.....Never trust instructions (or profiles), always, but always, check the real thing!
  7. I recall seeing a newish title on this subject somewhere too.....IIRC it was the second part of a book on 'nuisance bombing', this one featuring the German equivalent of the 'Night Witches' (I think it had a converted Arado(?) trainer on the front cover). I'll post a link if I find it again.
  8. I suspect a .pdf manual will be a must for this scenario, the pacing isn't such that you are running around like a headless chicken (unless you choose to do so), but there's a lot going on and it would be very easy to miss something if one gave this less than one's full attention.
  9. Close, but you don't quite get the coconut.....If it helps, that is what I thought I was buying.
  10. Have to agree.....With one or two exceptions the Osprey series offer little more than inspiration for CM or for Modelling.
  11. Bogtastic! You should go back to the old ways.....In Soviet Russia: Now that thing had some floatation!
  12. The Kurdish A7V.....I do love that thing! Staggeringly it has actually seen and survived combat!
  13. If there's any single scenario that would justify the purchase..... Seriously.
  14. Since I had the picture open for another thread elsewhere.....Does anyone recognise this little oddity: To some extent this is a trick question, the kit is accurate, but it's not what it seems at first glance.....Wish I'd noticed it myself, before buying a box of two of them.
  15. I suppose a big part of the problem is that un-ditching tricks that work efficiently with tracks (log/beam) just can't be done with wheels.
  16. Blimey! My view on the potential of 'tunnel-attacks' just got significantly revised !
  17. Here's the DB link to all CM:SF Campaigns that I'm currently aware of: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/s1tapnfrxfbkmci/AABQorGd0Ckm863JrJRIQX6za?dl=0
  18. Some of the handiwork of the 'Moderate Rebels' from East Ghouta.....This is The Church of St. Elijah and Our Lady of Harast after some time in their care: Classy huh?
  19. Seconded.....You should be feeling genuinely satisfied, this is amazing stuff. Frankly I doubt even Steve or Charles envisaged anyone stretching the powers of the editor to this degree, @Battlefront.com, @Battlefront Charles have you seen this yet?
