Michael Emrys
Some lovely new screenshots, but I notice that in image #3 the Shermans all have their .50s mounted in front of the TC's hatch. Wasn't that change made well after the time line of this game? Michael
MikeyD
The Sherman with .50 cal in front of the commanders hatch is actually the early type. The commander's rotating split hatch with mg mount. When the vision block Sherman TC cupola arrived the rotating split hatch with .50 cal was first moved over the loader, then the gun was moved - inconveniently - to the back of the turret on a pintle. I believe there's ten different types of Sherman in the game, actually more if you count all the Culin hedgecutter vehicles.
MeatEtr
Wow, great shot, love the troops standing in the HT ready to fire. P.S. BF is winning! (Sheen fever, catch it!)

gunnersman
I love the new interface. The old florescent green rifles were kind of annoying. It all just looks great now.
WillLight
yeah definitely better than the fluorescent green in CMSF, but I doubt these are final graphics for the weapons. I'd expect them to "paint" the silhouettes in by release time. No biggie if they don't, I'm sure someone will mod it.
LukeFF
Very nice screenshots! Has anyone else noticed the goof in the wallpapers yet?
Battlefront.com
Those are final graphics We feel that true renderings of weapons and silhouettes makes the UI too colorful, for lack of a better word. UI should be functional and elegant, but not necessarily colorful because you don't want the eye to be distracted by it. Expect UI like this for all CM games into the future. CM:SF followed the same concept but was more modern looking to fit the setting. Steve
Dietrich
Has anyone else noticed the goof in the wallpapers yet? It's no worse than the not-infrequently-encountered "heighth", really.
Kanonier Reichmann
The 3 shots depicting the death sequence of the German soldier was immpressive if a little macabre. There were 2 GI's in the background looking like they were casually leaning against a wall and viewing the whole scene with a dispassionate interest at best. Dan Dare
its is simply unbelivable, such a level of realism, it is incredible....even when i saved the first pic in my HD i realiced that its was named "1cm-normandy-tiger"....exactly as happened in normandy'44 with every pziv....speechless, no words could define how i feel
Erwin
Could I suggest that some of the new interface mods (by Vein etc) be incorporated - esp for the text messages on the LHS screen. Much easier to have a visual than to read text.

Lt Belenko
For open top vehicles like this Marder will the number of rounds visible accurately reflect the remaining ammo? http://www.battlefront.com/images/stories/CMBN/Wallpapers/1680x1050_miiim.jpg

Hopefully we'll get some chest-bumping animations in the modules.
Sergei
For open top vehicles like this Marder will the number of rounds visible accurately reflect the remaining ammo? Hopefully not, at least without a FOW element to it. "Hmm... he's got 10 HE grenades but only one AP shot left. Interesting!"

Hopefully not, at least without a FOW element to it. "Hmm... he's got 10 HE grenades but only one AP shot left. Interesting!" If I remember correctly, BFC actually coded the game so that you could visibly count the rounds left in the Marder (or whatever) as it was being spent. But as the opponent would be able to do the same, they decided to put that part of the 3D modeling on hold - for the time being (untill it can be coded so it´s only visible to the friendly side). Correct me if I´m wrong, BFC
