  1. I'm confuddled, you don't look like a free cat. Is that some kind of cunning disguise?
  2. Also, keep in mind that there are mods and scenarios available for Stalingrad, and Winter 43/44/45 on cmmodiii/greenasjade.net
  3. Typical Chamberlain. If it had read "Get Angry and Kill a Nazi" we might not have gotten our Limey arses kicked in May 1940. As for new content to play, I have plenty to keep me going until next dung spreading.
  4. Still on the first mission, struggling as is my wont. Why can't you scenario designers be as incompetent as Charlie Stewart? Oh, hang on a minute, two Pz IVs in flames in one turn. Turns up the volume on the Count and the boys in the band.
  5. Playing CMx2 with a spike driven through my napper is hard enough as it is. Please don't make it any more complicated.
  6. Anyone who says "thither and yon" deserves all the luck he can get in my book.
  7. Don't worry sburke, just buy her something nice for Xmas, and all will be forgiven.
  8. Oh, yes. You're spot on. But, I was thinking in terms of the troops we have in the game.
  9. Just as an aside. The Germans used lei. for the light divisions, but le. for light guns. I suppose some bloke came into work on a Monday morning after spending the whole weekend on the Berliner Kindl Weisse, and thought, "Oh, I just can't be bothered with the "i" this morning.
  10. Lei. is short for Leicht (or Light). The only lei division I can find doing a quick google is the 5th who were part of the Afrika Corps in '41. And it later became the 21st Panzer Division.
  11. I had the same problem the first time I used the German light Infantry gun in an indirect fire role, hitting buildings, trees, or anything, except the enemy. Obviously, the main job of the "Pack" was give the Airborne a chance of hitting back until they could establish Radio contact with heavier arty.
  12. Although I'm still struggling with "In the Fields Where the Poppies Grow"; I have downloaded this, and taken a quick peek. Thanks for putting the Mod pack and the tags together. I really appreciate people who go to the time and effort to do that. Although, I do have to hold my hands up and say, that I have removed the music mod, I can't send my boys into the walds of Germany or the forests of Belgium without Count Basie's "Jumping at the Woodside".
  13. I've always that minute of tension was perfect right from when I first played CMBO. Any longer, and I wouldn't have any nails left.
  14. Is it a "Pack" howitzer? If it is, then it won't have the same capabilities trajectory wise as a standard "Field" howitzer, to the best of my knowledge. Not that we had modern field pieces when I was fighting Charlie Stewart.
  15. That's a shame that neither of you got a reply. You can't really go wrong with any of the work that Aris has done. I'd also suggest Tanks a lot for buildings. But, also just browsing cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net for ideas is very rewarding.
  16. Why not just ask in the comments section of one of his videos. I imagine he uses Aris's terrain mod, like a lot of us do.
