  1. Not as far as I know. I'm sure that Steve and the boys in the band will let us know in their own time. In the meantime I will continue to get my Limey arse kicked in the brilliant battles and campaigns that they have already given us.
  2. "But still CM has lost it's mojo for me." ... Sound like you need a loud blast of Muddy Waters through your speakers.
  3. The only good thing about Mr.Charles Stuart Jnr is that he gave his name to pubs, such as, The Royal Oak, The Blackboy. But personally I've never forgiven him for taking my head off of my corpse and sticking it on a spike. It plays havoc with my typing.
  4. Well if my son "Tumbledown Dick" hadn't have been such a useless p**** we'd have remained a republic.
  5. Do we? ... I've never forgiven the USatians for Yorktown. Exits stage right -------------> Limey tongue planted firmly in cheek.
  6. I think that is good for BFC that we are all different. Although I think that we are straying just a tad from "Enemy mortars...."
  7. Just personal preference, my own interest ends in '45. But I would never try to tell others what to play.
  8. Personally I'd be happy with v.4 up to May '45 or back to Sept '39.
  9. And nowadays we have idiots wearing the words "Hugo Boss" on their underpants.Where's a partisan with a sharp knife when you need one?
  10. Unlike Crommers I've never actually been to Worcester. We do have a little Abbey down the road. I haven't thought about smashing it up, but I have been tempted to go down there and ask "Why don't you brew beer here?"
  11. It has indeed, although I do still keep the axeman on a full pension just in case.
  12. Oh, thanks Erwin. It was 200 years after my time, hence my mistake.
  13. Wasn't it General Burnside who said "They couldn't hit a barn door from this dis....."
  14. I'll resist the temptation to call you anything rude. It comes with Final Blitzkrieg. So you get your hands on it by buying the game. Enjoy!
  15. Just bide your time. BFC will deliver as and when they are ready.
  16. As a pedant I would say that it wasn't in the "south of Holland", it's in Limburg. But, as Panzer Mike says the fighting in that area was a "muddy mess". And his brilliant work captures that perfectly.
  17. I won't say what I feel about the OP's comments. Just that he reminds me of a certain Charles Stuart who wandered into a forum and tried telling me and my companions what to think. Sadly, things turned just a tad nasty after that.
  18. No, definitely no Fireflies in this one.
  19. I received the DVD as a Christmas present. But I saved it until April 9th to watch it. Excellent cast, and a very good movie.
  20. Not forgetting the lack of primogeniture meaning that land got subdivided between sons. Which led to the planting of more hedgerows, and therefore more small fields. And of course, the need to move diary cattle from one piece of grazing to another, eroding trackways and creating those lovely deep sunken lanes that we all love to fight our way along.
  21. @ IDILIX ... I think that IG guns are considered to have been "spiked" by their crews. In the same way that ATGuns are. As IanL explained further up the page.
  22. "Paper Tigers campaigns are ill-designed..." From what I've read the men on the ground had it tough in Normandy and The Netherlands. So why should P.T. let us off easy?
  23. Mine's a Weihenstephaner Dunkel Weisse if you're buying.
