  1. Hi guys, I was making some little experiments with CM and Blender but for the time I have some problems with textures of my project 001 for the time is a bad start I know... I was asking Aquila but he is not available for the time. This is my first Project, I want give a foliage camo to a german helmet, but like you can see the helmet himself is include in the foliage texture ? <img src= <img src= this is how it appear, with a mod, of @benpark if I can remember, I dont have any Idea how I can resolve it , do have somebody idea about ?? I take also the oporturnity to show you what I did for the time. Normaly soon mods will be available Project 002 chinstrap us regular infantry I want to give one of the aspect of the us soldier in ww2 like we know all in movies... <img src= Project 003 chinstrap us airborne infantry I was trying to give another view of the elite units like descripe above... <img src= If you want see it in action please ask or check the videos from @Falaise, I m sure he will present you some soon... Project 004 I want to replace the UK Bedford to a Chevrolet or Ford Canadian truck... <img src= here another view <img src= Project 005 us helmet with chinstrap behind the helmet <img src= but like the german helmet when the file is ready in the game the texture doesn t work ! Like I said all are PROJECTs some are almost finish but some not this is why there are not for the time in the CMMODs, ...I think this will be benefic for everybody and for every module from BF if I could finish it , so please if somebody have knowledges or want to working about I am able to share with him but let me know !   2. With the WW2 titles I can't seem to use indirect fire from my on map Priest's, Hummels and Wespes via a forward observer. Oddly the only self-propelled arty that I can use as its role is the "Grille" in CMBN. What's the point of bringing these? Tanks, tank destroyers and assault guns seem to be far more effective in every way. They aren't particularly well armored, so you can't get them anywhere close enough. Are they more accurate? I suppose just park them on a hill and use direct fire?

  4. So I know you guys are really not particularly interested in any of this stuff but I thought I might post some WIP Beta shots from the upcoming CMFI Rome to Victory module. You know, cause I have nothing else to do and no one will ever notice this stuff anyway but I need to put it somewhere...
  5. Does CM2 portray Jäger Division infantry type units or have they not been added? I see selections for Panzerjäger battalion under German Army: Infantry, but wasn't sure how you'd portray the infantry part of the formation. For instance the 114th Jäger Division's OOB looks like this: Jäger Regiment 721 Jäger Regiment 741 Reconnaissance Battalion 114 Artillery Regiment 661 Pionier Battalion 114 Panzerjäger Battalion 114 Signals Battalion 114 Reserve Battalion 114 Supply detachment 114 What formation would you use to represent a piece of say the 721st Regiment; elements from a normal Grenadier Battalion? Pioneer, Panzerjäger, and Supply all have obvious choices in the editor. Mord.

RDM - GL - In for a Pound scenario for CMFI (requires Gustav Line add-on) This original scenario has been randomized and expanded so that no two games will play alike, and so you and the AI opponent have more forces at your disposal making for a more intense experience. There are 5 different AI plans and all reinforcements have been set for random deployment times. As this is an alteration of an existing scenario you can expect to play the same objectives and general flow of the battle but with more opposition and some surprises. The reinforcements have been designed to keep you on your toes and to counter those of your AI opponent. However don't get complacent or throw away your forces - you will need them.   8. Gents, I've been slowly working on textures for CMFI vehices that were present in the North Africa and Tunisia campaigns. This is in addition to other textures already out there for DAK and British vehicles. Here's a peek at the results so far: British Vehicles: Stuart III - (late two-tone Caunter Scheme light stone and slate) Start III Reccy (Light Stone - Blue/Black) Universal Carrier (Light Stone - Dark Green) QF 6lb Gun and Lloyd Carrier (No record of Lloyd's in Africa, Universal Carriers were modified to tow the 6lb gun, but at the universal cant in CMFI have used the Lloyd) QF 17lb Gun - First Used in the Tunisia Campaign (Not 100% accurate as the QF-17lb was rushed into service in North Africa on the 25lb Howitzer carriage) Sherman II (Desert Pink - Blue/Black) Sherman III (Light Stone - Dark Green with mixed border) Sherman 1 (mid production no record of use in North Africa but used to test a paint scheme seen on M3 Grants) Churchill Mk.III King Force style (light stone over Khaki Green No.3) Churchill Mk.I (Light Stone) Churchill Mk.   10. I'm in a CMFI QB where my 37mm L/54 M3A1 towed anti-tank guns don't appear. I only know they're there because I see four (4) crewmen and get the AT Gun unit description when I click on them. I thought I recalled this as a known bug but my searches for it come up empty. I am using the Aris 37 57mm AT Guns mod but the problem occurs with and without mods. What can someone tell me about this? Is there a fix? Appreciate any suggestions. Thank you.
  11. Hi Community! Lately I have been getting really into CM, and this is not a small amount of "getting into" It is worse than any man-crush or fem-crush imaginable. My first conundrum was to pick a scenario, and wrestling with the decision to do an AAR on the forums or just badger friends with how great this game is and my ideas for a mission. I finally convinced myself to give AAR a go.. But I had already played most of the games scenarios and a big part of CM for me is to plan for an engagement and the unknown. A quick solution came to mind because I quickly turned to my good friend Google, he told me about a new thing called the scenario depotIII and a thing called a few good men and greenasjade. I was thrilled… After careful consideration I found a new scenario with both Bon Giorno and Tomahawk in its name. Some might call it a bit childish, but I am okay with it as I am sometimes finding myself being drawn to names and a good cover art over a deeper read through of the content. After a quick download I fired up the game and the process began.. MDMP.. here we go.. that process took about 4 hours and mind you it still is only a rough sketch and I must give a shout out to combatintman for the rehash of the formula. This AAR follows a rough idea of how I want the presentation to be like, so this is more of a plan, execute and show tid bits of action as the battle unfolds. So without further stalling here it is..
  12. Welcome to the grand opening of the New CMFI Theater! I thought it would be cool to start a thread similar to a screen shot thread dedicated to cinematic CM vids now that the forum has video imbed feature. I enjoyed this excellent vid created by Rinaldi, and thought it would be a good idea to open the CM Theater thread as a collection point for those to show off their video editing / directing talent, and to make everyone's movies easily found and seen. Although I do not have any video editing programs personally I can enjoy watching what others have made. Cinematic style using video editors, or unusual/ interesting things that happen in the game movies of any length will be the focus. Rinaldi's vid is a good example of what the CMFI Theater would like to show as opposed to AAR type vids with voice over commentary by the player. So, if you have a good CMFI vid, or know of any good ones such as this one please post it for us to enjoy and find it easily, and to build our CM Theater collection. Please remember to give credit to the movie maker if you did not make it yourself. Get the pop corn popping, the beer head foaming, and enjoy the shows!
