I hadn't noticed this at the time of your post. But, having reached the final mission I have found an annoying number of light vehicles marked as "Dismounted" which can't be moved even though they have men sat in them.

I've just downloaded this pack. On first viewing it does look like an impressive piece of work. Currently "Downfall" is taking up all of my limited gaming time, so it will be months rather than weeks before I take it on. But, many thanks to X (formerly known as Twitter) for putting it together.

They can indeed. Although care does need to be taken when using them, as their low trajectory shells do sometimes hit trees, rather than their intended target.

That was brilliant. It's a shame that "Chewin' the fat" isn't on the BBC iPlayer. It's also a shame that BFC didn't get someone from north of the border to do the voices for 15th Inf Div.

... you'll know that people have been talking about creating scenarios/campaigns based on Paderborn at least as far back as 2015. So why don't you either make something yourself, or at least offer your services to one of designers via a PM

Perhaps some people are confuddled by your list. "Veritable" is very much "in" rather than "out". As are, "Varsity", "Remagen" and "Cologne", unless my 400 year old noddle is playing tricks on me.

What scenario are you playing?

I think that I may have automatically assumed I was getting 3in Mortars because their HQ is on the map. Anyway they're not shown on the Tactical Map amongst the reinforcements. So I doubt that they will put in an appearance. I also have to hope that my fly boys don't bomb my men. But, it has happened before.

The US "Spearhead" campaign will be next up for me. I'm looking forward to less mud, less woodland, and poorer quality German troops.

I'm not if anyone else is taking on "Claymores Through Kleve", but in one or two missions we are meant to have 3in/81mm mortars off-map. But, they do not show up in the arty support panel. Which is a bit annoying when you are rubbish like me, and need all the arty I can get.

I think we all have to adopt a different approach. Mainly because George wasn't able to create a "everything stops for tea" battle plan for the Allied AI.

Thank you for putting me right on that one. Slightly off topic. We visited a National Trust property yesterday. They had an Edisonophone, so I asked the guide if she would play something. She obliged by putting on some ragtime. I then had to explain to both her, and my girlfriend how the wax cylinders were recorded. Meanwhile back to the first mission. My Canucks didn't sound "British", they sounded like they came from the wrong side of the pond, just as they should do.

That is very true. At 400-odd years old I'm even older than the UK. Of course, Erwin fails to grasp both the history (and the humour) behind my comment. "Brits" fought in late 20th century Ireland, they have fought in the middle east in this century, and of course give, their name to an award for ****e electronic dance music. And the word is fine when talking about BFCs modern titles. Downfall is a WW2 title and the word is out of place. Granddad Paddy was born in County Meath, and fought all through the war (except when consuming vast quantities of the black stuff in the NAAFI). He was a Limey, but he could never be a "Brit". My USatian girlfriend can grasp this concept, and she has only lived in Limeyland for 7 years. As for filling out forms which demand our nationality, I'm miffed if I don't get the option "Anglo-Irish".

Oh, dear. There are no "Brits" in this campaign. You begin with the Canucks, and then go on to fight as the Jocks. If you must use a collective to describe members of the British Army in WW2 then use "Limeys".

Once the white flag appears they can't "unsurrender". And if you are playing turn-based they will disappear either in that turn, or the next.

My reason for suggesting you try @Bootie was down to the lack of Designer Notes, and authors name in the briefing. Like yourself I found the map a bit flat and feature less. Okey, back to the Reichwswald.

It might be due to the size. When I looked at it earlier it did seem to stick on 98% for quite a while when loading. I doubt I'll actually be playing it anytime soon, too busy with real life, and Downfall at the moment.
