1. Great 'CM Level 5' overview of hasty Russian field fortifications (Snihurivka). No bang bangs, just recce, good quality video, few jump cuts. Scenario design material. 
2. Also, great source material for a future CMBS 'squalor' mod.  If only I had the time, sigh....

4. And at the far opposite end of situational awareness: a Level Zero (Russian) grunt's eye view -- the awful isolation of the battlefield, can't see the enemy, only your squadmates dead and dying....
 
 

LET US DO THIS AGAIN? I give everybody more time. I want to see those cherries raise their hands. Make a scenario for the community.
Alright, 110 days until X-mas. (Julian 359-249=110). The gauntlet is down for you guys, especially you "cherries", to make a scenario, your first scenario...?, before Christmas. Let us swamp the community with some scenarios. Use or modify an existing map if you need to (and give polite credit in your briefing or designers notes to prevent accusations of being a dreaded parasite!). Make your own simple map! No Rembrandts are required! Dial it down to 208 x 208, if needed, the teeniest tiniest map you can make. BUT ANY SIZE MAP IS GOOD! Playable from only one side is AOK. Just make sure to say that guidance in the main cover description. Use just a tiny force. Put the AI on defence and the AI plan is very rudy..rudo..ruddimuntary..it is EASIER! Use just a small timeframe of 10 minutes!  I (and a butt ton of others) am here to lend a hand to answer questions or go now and read the famous JonS scenario guide pdf in your main install folder. All these different titles can use some new juices. I got a couple coming down. I will edit this and state how many scenarios we got from last time. Standby, EDIT: I think it was between 16 and 20. I did release many but had a few hit a creative wall so maybe this year, they get done.
**NEW IDEA: Maybe do some QB maps with simple AI plans?
I am not a CMCW, CMSF2, CMBS modern war bubba but please use this as a reason to make a scenario for those games. This is not just for WW2 games.

Hi all, this mod replaces the generic luftwaffe ground unit uniforms with that of the Hermann Goering division. Works for all games but is suitable for Red Thunder within the fire and rubble timeframe. All work belongs to EZ, and lucky strike. I just mashed stuff together. Link Below, enjoy.

It will take less effort with equipment than Barbarossa, so 1943 will probably be the next iteration in the East.
I'm looking more forward to crap tanks™ in 1941 though.

 EZ did SS [LSSAH] mods for CMBN:  Camo Peas; Feldgrau base; Pz Assault Gun Crews; Panzer; Smock Greatcoat...
I sent all that to Bootie a couple of years ago, so they should be somewhere in FGM/CMMODS.
I think what GeorgeMC links to is "Armored Engineers".

Thanks for making all of these, variety is a wonderful thing.

So this is an opinion entirely unmatched by the totality of military history, historic doctrine and current practice.
I'm honestly a bit curious where it's pulled from.

Personally, I believe tanks (or AFV in general) will have tethered drones and commander will control it with AI assistance. He will put glasses on and will command with the view from up there with AI getting control when needed. A tethered drone is invulnerable to EW, has unlimited endurance and is significantly stealthier. Better suited for tank.
Untethered drones most likely will be used by recon units because it is better to launch them as forward as possible. Plus untethered drone launch is by default dangerous (it starts emitting and competent enemy picks it up and sends free HE gift). So, you better move after launch (after landing) and that means Recon units are more suitable for the job. With AI assistance just one recon vehicle can launch several untethered drones with just one operator and handle job of whole tank platoon.

Soviet WWII artillery is pretty decent, by WWI standards. Soviet CW artillery is damn good, for WWII.

You should have ended with "A10 sucks. Fight Me" 
 Just kidding,but that reply seems a bit severe. The A10 isn't just for strafing, it can carry many different  NATO ordinance. 
Also,  UKR has continuously  used its SOV Su-25s during the war, in their intended role despite RUS AD. They've suffered losses but nothing catastrophic,  and certainly within the thresholds of a high intensity, technological modern war space. Still, it's a very old platform in a very modern war,  with no room for improvement. Yet the vehicle obviously fills a battlefield need, so a drastic upgrade is needed. 
I'm pretty sure we all have a high opinion of the UKR military leadership, including  the Air Force. They don't waste assets and they seem very receptive to battle lessons and very adaptive to them. 
Also, the training has already been in progress for at least 2 months, so I highly dount the UKR Air leadership is going to say Oh No, Wait, The A10 *DOES* suck! and reassign everyone back to perfecting Frogfoot death runs. 
So I doubt the A10
1) Sucks
2) is not needed
3) inappropriate for the UKR AF
I've no interest in the technical back-forth because, for me, in my ignorance,  it all boils down to this:
1) The A10 is a combat proven platform and this is the combat situation it was specifically designed for. 
2) UKR wants it and has been training  on it.

Hi, This mod adds some smocks over some of the greatcoats of the SS Works in all titles that have SS and their greatcoat uniform options. Just stick them in your Z folder.
