Splinty
Southern Italy is a pretty dry place in the summer, and as an old mechanized infantryman I can tell you tanks and trucks turn out a massive amount of dust at the slightest opportunity.
Erwin
I think at present they look better set on the helmet. Worn on the eyes, they look like expensive fashionable shades. I think they should have a bulkier frame(?).
kohlenklau
I saw this spooky horror movie when I was a kid about U-Boat men who were still alive long after the war on some island. Nazi experiments or something and they always had these scary goggles on. But maybe they were supposed to be underwater goggles?

Heinrich505
kohlenklau, The movie you are referring to is "Shock Waves." I remember that one well. It starred Peter Cushing. It was rather creepy. Heinrich505

Hilts
Is this what is known as being blown "sky high"? I like the fact that even in his state of suspended animation the crewman still has the presence of mind to take cover as additional shells fall.....

BLSTK
Of all the late-war technological advances made by the Axis, perhaps the most promising development was the practical application of levitation.
Michael Emrys
Of all the late-war technological advances made by the Axis, perhaps the most promising development was the practical application of levitation. Fortunately for world history, the war ended before this could enter the training syllabus of the troops, so it never got out of the developmental stage. It was further hindered when the Sonderkommando charged with refining it was of necessity committed to battle prematurely and quickly became casualties. A Canadian Cat
It has been while since we had any CMFI screen shots. I am always on the look out for good through the window view. Yesterday I saw this: During Men with Suspicious Hats my Troops began clearing a building complex and while they were doing that the enemy tried to with draw across a street near by. My guys saw what was happening and took aim.

Erwin
If you can find angles that lose the awful "edge of tabletop" look, the video is good.
