Frankster65
I love watching these kind of actions play out... such a good game! Yep, every little action is a small dramatic movie playing out in front of you and you can watch it over and over.

Hawthorne
An unreleased photo of Canadian forces probing the German defenses around Caen sometime in June, 1944. Or a screenshot after I upgraded to v3.0. Whatever.
Trooper117
Brilliant job... had to look twice, it looks so real
c3k
LOL! You got me. Hook, line, and sinker. It took a bit of staring for me to think something wasn't quite right. Great photo. Err, screenshot.

Erwin
MY first thought was "How do you know it's unreleased?" Looks real. Well done! The blurred one in the BG looks very real. It's the in-focus front one that looks just a little unreal. You see the jagged shadows.
Fenris
If the entire pic was very slightly blurred like the rear AC it'd look more convincing IMO. The jagged shadows under the first vehicle are a dead give away. Thats not to say it isn't a nice pic though, well done. -F
Doodlebug
Had me convinced for a moment or two. Well done.
Michael Emrys
It had me convinced for about three seconds, but something about that fence made me suspicious, it looked oddly familiar. Then I took a closer look at the roadside grass and that clinched it. I have to admit though that I completely missed the jagged shadows; those have never been a major concern for me like they have for some players. Hawthorne
Thanks, everyone. I used this effect to create the blur, and then added film grain, desaturated it and played with the contrast levels in Photoshop. Glad you liked it.
Peter Panzer
Hit decals are turning out to be one of my favorite little, big things introduced in 3.0. I especially enjoy the forensic element they bring to the game. In my first 3.0 scenario, this early model MkV has taken three rounds to its front from a US tank destroyer. Check out the "penetration" decal on the muzzle break, which is aligned with the "ricochet" decal on the mantlet. The game actually tracked and recorded the M18's round passing through the L/70 and expending the rest of its energy on the mantlet rendering the gun inoperable in the process. Good stuff.
Hawthorne
"Boy, it sure would be nice if we had some GRENADES, don't ya think?" That's only half of the pineapples tossed at that hapless half-track, which escaped unscathed, only to be disassembled by bazooka round next turn.

Well, I see you have learned of a good way to get the enemy to waste their grenades
