    One more:
    In Quick Battle TOE, German Armor, Flammpanzer Company formation is available to buy in October 1944 without any tanks. It is literally an empty formation. It finally gets vehicles in Jan 1945, but from Oct to Dec 1944 is empty. Also, the AI will often buy multiples of these empty formations in quick battles if you leave the AI to buy its own units, wasting points on "nothing".

    Thanks for reporting the bugs I spent cataloging. As regards the one you didn't see...
    I see this in Quick Battle formation selection: Panzerjager Batt 44 (armoured)
     The option for JPz IVs is highlighted as a sub-option under self-propelled gun, you just don't get any JPz IVs, only Hetzers. As I stated, this is different to the scenario editor version TOE options.
    I can't find an US M2HB 50.cal specialist infantry teams anymore either (infantry or armored inf.) They definitely used to exist as they appear as add-on units to formations in some scenarios included in Final Blitzkrieg. If you want any you have to use a formation like the AA Platoon.
    Specialist Teams - Airborne 57mm AT Gun - an Airborne unit present in Armored Infantry tab? Wears standard US army uniforms - so just the name is wrong? - Look like it should be a mortar team actually looking at the specialist lists.
    Also, it's nearly 18 months since the last patch, is there ANY news on patch progress? We have been more than patient.

    T-80B1 does not have the GLATGM guidance module on turret, but does have the shadow for it. There is a similar shadow on the T-64B1 turret.

    Recently, in the FI forum, some of us were sharing our experience of programming the AI when designing QB maps.
    This is an interesting topic that I think should be immortalised in its own thread 😛
    I've put my own meagre experimentation first (because it was first in that particular thread chronologically), but @kohlenklau has observed the behaviour of the AI much more scientifically; and I know there are others on the forum (including experienced designers like @benpark) who have also carefully observed how the AI allocates AI groups to forces.
    I'm much lazier, I just playtest them, and if I have fun I give it a tick (also too lazy to search the forum for previous discussions of this topic, although I know it has cropped up in various contexts over years).
    I'm really interested in what some of you more analytical designers have learnt, so I can apply it to my own maps

    I've come across a few TOE issues in the recent patches. For what it's worth, I put all those remaining in 2.03 into a list - in the hope they get noticed and fixed one day...

    Panzerjager Battalion 44 - Jagdpanzer selection gives only Hetzers, no models of JgPzIV available.
    This appears to be a different formation to the Panzerjager Battalion 44 in the Scenario Editor TOE with different options.

    Screenshot was auto levelled in photoshop with a 25% sharpen filter (because anti-alias made it pretty blurred).
    For a "completely" undoctored/unedited version see below. I don't use reshade or anything, those colors are vanilla plus it's pretty dark.

    These new edits allow people free access to battle pack missions and campaigns that they have not bought or activated, is that ok with you guys? Everyone here sounds very liberal today, but how would BFC respond when they realise that you can do that now, what about the scenario authors that made that content, did you ask them before you revealed this?
    Whether you realise it or not, that while this may allow the swapping of maps and scenarios from expansion modules to other titles it is at the same time a guide on how to pirate battle pack modules. You’re not breaking the activation of the battle pack in the game engine, but all the bits at the other end, the maps, scenarios and campaigns because that is the only check performed. I’m pretty sure BFC would not be OK with that, and understandably so.
     
    If you can edit say any Black Sea battle pack QB map, scenario or campaign to work in any title, then it now also works in Black Sea…. without the Battlepack module activation. It’s probably a bit more complicated for the Normandy Battlepack due to the CW and MG modules, but for Black Sea it is perfectly straightforward.

    Many Thanks again, I had a mod already set up for Final Blitz using sidecaps, that would be activated by the gebirgsjager tag. Just needed to swap in the feldcap model and textures.

    A couple more things about 2.03.
    1. CMFB 2.03 and the latest CMBS patch are filling my temp folder with little 2kb files with a prefix of SS_ and the a 4 hex file name. I assume they can be deleted safely (except when the game is running - this is how i identified their origin and I wondered where they were coming from for a while). 3 new ones are created per session. Looks like a small executable or dll. Maybe SoftwareShield DRM (SS prefix??) is responsible -just guessing. This is new since 2.03 however.
    2. There is a new Jagdpanzer IV 70 V (early) model in the 2.03 patch. The reason for this inclusion isn't mentioned in the readme notes. The only reason I'm mentioning it is it includes some new texture errors as well as some old ones. The sparetrack options (on the back of the hull) are now using the wrong texture (the jpz skirt texture is used instead of the correct one), this is a brand new texture bug for this model introduced with 2.03. The sparewheel option is using the wheel texture. It shouldn't, it should be using the hull, there is a spare wheel on bottom left the hull texture for this purpose (this error had been around since the release of CMFB). Also the mudguard options are using the skirt texture and not the hull (again a long term graphics bug).

    You can actually see the mudguards and track using the textures from the side skirts in this image.
    However it is relatively easy to fix the model, here is what it should look like (I edited a fix of 2.03 model):
    The track is from the pziv skirt texture, while the spare wheels and mudguards are from jpz hull. The correct texture names were identified by looking at other jpz models lacking the error.

    I confess I've gone back to 2.02 now, I mostly play QB's and the inability to buy cheap observers is a bit of a pain.

    Lol, I also made this mod, or at least a very similar mod, a month or two ago, in preparation for Fire and Rubble's arrival. It's all ready to go for CMFB and RT-F&R when the module arrives, just need the fieldcap model and a texture as a guide. Adapted some of EZ's uniforms too, but need to work in some of those warm jackets, what's great is that the gebirgs tag works with models too. You obviously know that though as you mix helmets in your screen shot.
