For me the maps. Looking forward to some city/town battles. Secondly RT being upgraded to the current patch. Third... partisans and volksturm.

Yeah. I, for one, can't even play RT in its current form. Having infantry abandon foxholes under heavy arty fire is just too much. On the bright side, CMBN is really enjoyable now with the latest patch. Hedgerow battles are pretty brutal.

I think most of it depends on the context. In general AT guns have good effect against tanks and good range  but not so good protection, so having them far back in keyholed positions (relative safe) with good fields of fire at locations where you expect enemy armor will maneuver helps them actually being able to fire at tanks before they die.
Armour cover arcs can be used to control the ideal moment of opening fire. Sometimes it can be interesting to hold fire for a bit, if only with the goal to deceive the enemy that the area is safe while it isn't. Armour arcs will also prevent them unmasking to fire at infantry unwanted.
Also often players will scout with infantry first, so during that time it can be helpful to hide the AT gun; minimizing the chance of being discovered without having fired a shot.
However these are all situational. There aren't always good keyhole positions far back. Sometimes you'll want the AT guns to be part of the front defense and try to achieve fire superiority from the get go instead of letting enemies get closer. Sometimes you'll want them to fire HE at infantry at will. etc
So the best way to setup your AT guns is imo to first decide what role you want them to play in your defense based off the terrain, objectives and enemy forces. Where do you expect enemy tanks to advance and where do you want to engage them? Do you want to deny them any form of overwatch (disallowing combined arms action), or do you want to let them come forward and engage enemy tanks while they are facing somewhere else? Etc
Thinking about of those things and answering the questions with the specific battle in mind will answer most questions regarding where and how to ideally setup your guns, whether to use (armor) arcs and or hide and when to change those orders.
If you can't prevent or detect enemy infantry scouting close to your AT guns (~couple of hundred meters), they will probably get scouted by infantry anyway (even if hiding) and good chance of mortars incoming sooner rather than later. So in that case hiding and arcs might not be that useful, as there is little merit in trying to hide it; might be better of trying to dish out (area) fire wherever possible.

    For Volkssturm, "military" branch.
It may have been possible, as the formation is "new".
Almost forgot Partisans, they will have military side-caps and civilian-type hats/caps (different than Middle-European versions). The models are a mix of civilian gear and military soldier models (with breaches, IIRC).

Thank you kindly. I believe I have two scenarios, 4 campaigns (2 are from opposite perspectives), and a mess of big, historically derived maps (nearly 20?) and around 100+ QBs from said maps.
Lots of great scenarios by others, and I can finally (almost) play 'em myself!

M43 and M44 mix is in. I'm away from my FR churner at the moment, but here's some other bits about uniforms-
There was a lot of research throughout this, and models were added for the gaps in RT that we had, as well as for the near 100-Years War level of uniform chaos that is 1945. Here are a few of the additions (there may be more, so I'll leave those for discovery).
There is an M43 cap in, used by the Volkssturm "Military" Appearance. That covers RAD troops, and just about anything auxiliary that saw combat that would have been in some form of uniform. I believe those also have helmets mixed in.
The other two Appearance options for the Volkssturm are "Standard" and "Greatcoat". Standard is the civilian-type kit, Greatcoat is civilan-type hats and...a greatcoat.
We have tried to add more targeted visual variety, as there are a lot of different, odd formations active in this time period, each with their own characteristics that I tend to prefer to have some visual representation of. Better than looking at icons to know what the enemy may be, or the UI if it is on-screen.
I believe random helmets and ushanka mixes are also making it in for winter conditions (headgear is a headache!). Getting the Soviets some additional visual improvements was a goal. There will also be the slung greatcoat (skatka, bedroll) model, which has shown up in the images previously.
Gebirgsjägers are a bit different. Those uniforms I did (using Mike's base) were a last minute add for CMFB, I believe. Steve had to do some magic to get the uniforms to show, so changing the headgear is another layer of complexity beyond the others. Better than not having the uniform at all, in my book. Possible in the future, but these seemingly small changes are prone to break lots of stuff.
I have some other things that I'll release as ideas or mods that didn't make it, post-release. This module has the largest accumulation of cutting-room floor in memory, and is already packed. Even with the years of development, there wasn't enough time to test all concepts and scenarios that were deemed nearly there.

yes...even gebirgsjägers with sidecaps...It is quite rare, but possible...
If the delay brings them the M43 cap It will worth the waiting...but I'm afraid will not be the case...

I at first hated playing as the Soviets since I'm fairly methodical and cautious. But you just gotta let that go. Take the casualties and keep pushing. Instead of throwing 1 platoon at the enemy throw 3. But the US airborne are definitely my favorite. Great morale and they have an answer for almost every problem.

I have the CMRT Romanian Mod playtest download link out to 5 people to poke it and prod it.
If it clears them as playable with no glitches, I will post a link here for any interested folks.

I hope everything goes smoothly and the game gets released this week. I appreciate the focus on making sure the game releases in its best condition. I was worried that after FR was released, I might not have a CM title to look forward too, but CW changed that. I think the WW2 titles are the best though. I think FR will push RT sales. The new additions in the module will really fill the game out. RT has some of the best maps in my opinion.

My anecdotal experience suggests that the MG42 is the deadliest MG in the game by far, and I'd rather be shot at by almost anything else (as far as MGs go). It is remarkably deadly, accurate, and suppressive. Again, that's more observational than anything.

As for cause of casualties, you have to be very careful with things like that as you're often drawing data from the entire scope of a campaign instead of from the 'small screen' which would be scenarios like CM depicts. From the big screen, where you have interdiction and all sorts of artillery exchanges happening, yes, the vast majority of damage accrued over time would be from explosives and not all of them inflicted on combat-oriented units. We can tell the difference pretty easily by just looking at combat units themselves, which often have egregious lossrates of 50%+, wounded and killed -- basically, being the actual guy doing the fighting is an insanely dangerous job (no surprise). If the army as a whole had rates like that it would be drawdropping amounts of casualties.

But as for bullets specifically, John Ellis's book has this remark about it:

Try playing the Syrians as the underdog, its a new way to experience modern war, and the experience will develop new skills that you never knew you needed. Even if your total force gets shot to pieces, learning to get the hard kills is valuable.
