OK so I fibbed. I remember David Hemery winning the 400m Hurdles Gold medal in Mexco in '68.
Slightly less tongue in cheek. A CM Weltkrieg 1968 wouldn't interest me for the same reason that none of the modern titles wouldn't. A brief scan of my posting history is enough to let people know that I only play WW2. Luckily BFC is a broad church and there are plenty of gamers out there to buy the modern titles.

Honestly, I would wait for the Rome to Victory Module, then buy whatever big bundle is sold for CM:FI.

My vote would be for CMFI+GL bundle as it will allow you to do Monte Cassino and winter battles. The only thing it is missing off your list is Russians.😀
The upcoming Rome to Victory module will add the Free French troops and many others, extend the timeline of the game from July 43 to May 45, the longest timeline of any CM game. There are so many unique vehicles and units in CMFI, it is my favourite game in the series.
I would wait to buy Red Thunder until the new module for it comes out. This bundle will give you the winter battles on the East Front you are after.

Time that some of us are waiting to CMRT module " the grand Russian Offensive Bagration"...
in a poor western region the Polish peoples prepare to resist and have the hope to receive some help to the Russian Army...
 
This is why I TRY to built a little mod...
I guess everybody saw the movie ...if not copy and past the link in your browser,  to see the trailer...
 
This is what I realise for the time.
 

 
But because I don t have enough knowledge’s in the modding world, uniforms are with a lot of bugs and far away to be finish yet, I am busy to  trying to modding some 
weapons like Sten and Kar98  to added to the " Shadow Polish Resistance army".
 
 
 Also the german troops categories SS, are not including in the CMRT module, than i have to pick up left and right uniforms from some Modders.
 

If somebody is interesting to lend me a hand I will really appreciated.
 
My goal is to added all these one...I made a mistake in my mdr mds files and dont find more who is what but soon...
I dont use Photoshop but Paint this is why the result are not perfect...for the time !!

That was what kept me with CMx1 Until CM:BN came out.  I wish that system could get updated to work somehow with CMx2 engine.  Core units with a 'Campaign" layer are the dope man.

Yep, I remember that I played an H2H-campaign (Nordheim) for CMBO, which was just awesome. It took us about a year to finish, but it was time „well spent“.

try the command "hot key"  (alt + r) toggle shader or (alt +w) toggle shadow !!

Yep, looks like the days of OpenGL are numbered.  Also it seems from the link that Apple may not really be fan of gaming.  I'm afraid that may not bode well for our Mac friends.    

I was a little suprise from Erwin answer, cos he is normaly always very kind and give always a good word to help peoples...but everybodys have a bad day sometime, and is true that we recieve from couples of weeks agos, some strange message, in China  Corean or Japan...some strange behaviours that we have to pay attention.
About Thief2125 I will say big thanks to be present on the forum and let us access to the big work , polite to ask if he can use a mod already done to make himself some modifications, I m sure appreciated from each of us, this is the kind of guy that we need with Oleksandr  and all the futures news modders, to bring "a sherry of the cake" of ours favourits games series from BF, and I m sure there is more to awating in these kind of new members, wait and see...
