While the Satanism angle invites ridicule it makes a lot of sense.
QAnon cultists represent a significant domestic threat for the US and have been eating RUS propaganda for years. They will feel vindicated and reinvigorated. Stochastic terrorism and separatism in the US will likely increase after this move.
If there is one thing Russia is very good at, it's psyops.

ZPB II got a reaction from 37mm in Warm In The Shadows, a new small vs. AI & H2H scenario
Danger! Excitement! Loud noises! The cruel whims of fate touch your pixeltruppen and highlight the horror and chaos that is war!

The tentacle monster from deep space has concocted a small scale scenario, a 700m x 500m hillside map where the attacking force is a bit less than a full company. Available are two versions, one for play Vs. the AI and another for H2H play.

A company of US infantry is tasked with taking important high ground from the Germans under the cover of darkness in preparation for the morning attack. The Germans are enjoying artillery superiority in the sector, assault the hilltops and take out forward observers, command structure and field guns before the sun rises and exposes your men climbing up the hillside.

The player is provided with plentiful time to plan and accomplish his objectives, the scenario clock is rather merciful. You may take your time but there will be tradeoffs.

Last minute tweaking, testing and bugfixing is taking place, expect this to be available at the nearest Repository in a few days. Here's a few screenshots, they show up fine on my machine but may be too dark for some. It is not as dark in-game, but you can use Alt+B (don't know what it is on the Mac) to toggle the artificially bright night mode.

    Hi everyone. Nikita here.
I'm still in Crimea. I have to be careful with every word, especially after being detained on 24th by police and FSB, so I will be brief. I am literally shaking as I type due to adrenaline, but we all need to be strong these days.
    1) Ukraine will be free. The bastards will fail. I can clearly see it.
    2) We witness an insane amount of heroism. Which is truly inspiring.
    3) Thanks to Steve and other people from here who were kind to me in the past and took time and patience to communicate with me. It made a lot of difference in the end and made me a person who I am today.

In my opinion, in an animated visual, the motion and behavior of the objects is as intrinsic part of the whole as the vertices, textures and shaders.
Regardless, the lighting and the explosions are too arcade for my personal taste. I want my war to look drab and bleak! IMO this would look so much better if it had slightly less plastic sheen and the explosions were high explosive detonations instead of low explosive deflagrations.

But I play CM because it doesn't look and play like an arcade video game.
(Eugen games are fun distractions but have very little to do with realism. Felt like playing World In Conflict with more work and less fun.)

This is such a hilariously meh post, even though I agree with many points.
Every point has been iterated multiple times beyond counting, which is not a problem per se, otherwise a forum would be a dull and dry place, but the authoritative way you tell those with opposing viewpoints to shut up and proclaim your view to be objectively true. Then you claim not to be a hater? Bit of a manipulative and gaslight-y way of carrying conversation.
You "request" the devs to add something new? Do you really think they aren't working on new stuff?

Shaders run on the GPU and CMx2 implements OpenGL in an oldschool way, so there is potential for weird interactions. Immediate mode instead of retained mode and some of the vertex and texture data for the UI is passed as quads, which is deprecated functionality. Depending on drivers etc. many GPUs seem to handle this without major issues, others don't. FXAA and Intel integrated GPUs are some examples where it doesn't work very well.
It could be a bug but it could also be cooling or VRAM related. Maybe taking a look GPU memtesting and temps. I don't want to be alarmist, but I had a GPU die recently and monitor going black, screen tearing and needing to refresh websites because VRAM went out under load were the exact symptoms I had before more serious artifacting appeared. And by the time there were serious artifacts on the screen, magic smoke was in the air. Same PID1000 general error on the same module, only it was followed by kernel exceptions. I would health check the GPU just to be sure.

    ZPB II got a reaction from Grey_Fox in BRDM-2 AT5 - Reloading not Spotting/Aiming/Firing
I recently had an entirely opposite experience, having no other expectations of an AT-5 BRDM other than spectacularly explosive bait, I slow-moved it to peek out of some woods and these absolute kings in their mighty war chariot took on an entire platoon of M60A1s in defensive positions and emerged victorious without taking any return fire. They emptied the entire cassette of 5 missiles in maybe 20 seconds or so. I was impressed and my view of ATGM vehicles was forever changed.

I vaguely remember something about production nightmares regarding Lynch's Dune. Something about the producer hyping it as a Star Wars killer and a money printer to execs and this compromising the artistic vision.
Emperor: Battle for Dune was a lovely game, better than the lukewarm critical reception it received at the time.
