  1. Bedankt! I can finally get my fully-upgraded .50cal Fennek fix: Damn I love those things!
  2. LWJ seem thoroughly unimpressed: https://www.longwarjournal.org/archives/2019/12/analysis-how-the-us-arrived-at-this-critical-crossroads-in-afghanistan.php Not hugely surprising really.
  3. Om nom, nom.....This one tastes of salsa!
  4. Fascinating read.....Looks like your plan came together nicely. This: Needs to be explored further IMHO.....I'd certainly love to follow such an event (preferably something modern).
  5. Not sure what this has to do with CM:BS.....Might have been better posted in this thread, dedicated to the subject: http://community.battlefront.com/topic/134023-afghanistan-the-current-situation/
  6. Have to say, I look forward to seeing the fruits of your cooperation, these will be a great addition to the game.
  7. I'd recommend opening a ticket, here: https://battlefront.mojohelpdesk.com/ But I'll light up the Bat-Signal too: @BFCElvis.....I think this chap's rez has failed to explode!
  8. I'm going to have to agree with the Roundhead. 'Cornered Rats' might be a more apt description.
  9. I was, TBH, just a wee bit sad not to find these two.....For German use: Maybe some future Vehicles, Partisans & Commandos Pack?
  10. Here's another possible example from CM:BS: This is from mission #2 of an unmodified version the 'Shield of Kiev' campaign.....The car on the left is a non-standard flavour object. How did it get there? PS - Just found another one, rather oddly placed:
  11. Time well spent IMHO.....I've played three R2V scenarios so far, all of them have been excellent, kudos to the creators.
  12. I thought it was yourself or perhaps @sburke.....Long time ago TBH. This campaign is part of the CM:BS scenario pack, which is still for sale. It really does merit some attention IMHO, all things considered.....If I could get the campaign de-compiler working I'd be happy to at least attempt to 'fix it' myself.
  13. Glad you got it sorted fella.....Hope you might post some of your creations once they are finished.
  14. Couple of notes on the first scenario: As mentioned above, the 120mm mortars listed in the briefing are missing. There were three oddly placed Red TRPs, close together, all in one of the main objectives.....Should these perhaps be Blue TRPs for the player's use? This mission is beyond difficult as it currently stands.....There really are a hell of a lot of Russians out there, your main tool to destroy them is your artillery, but you only have one battery and it takes around seven minutes to FFE. Hence my query about those TRPs.....They could make all the difference if they were for the player's use and he placed them right. BTW - There are three main objectives for the Blue player, plus countless minor touch objectives, most of which you can't get to without crossing a river.....Which again makes me wonder about those TRPs?
  15. Not looked at this one yet, but if you have any artillery, a well placed linear barrage may help to stop the Germans reaching the critical hill-top before you.
  16. Look forward to seeing it (assuming you get the opportunity). I haven't even looked at the QB Maps yet, I'd quite forgotten about them in all the excitement.
  17. There were a couple of interesting moments, especially for those of us that like 'sneaking about spotting stuff' type scenarios and we are theoretically talking about an 'Uncons' type pack after all.
  18. More likely just very well written AI scripting for the QB map.
  19. There was official 'Conquistador' DLC available for Medieval Total War.....Not sure if it's still available, but it was an interesting challenge, winning with the Aztecs was something I never achieved, although I did well with the Incas.
