  1. Is the LOS the same farther away from the building? It looks like the hedge might be causing the problem right where you have the target.
  2. Indeed. The silence from Steve and company has been deafening. Always a good sign something new will be dropping soonish.
  3. Thank you very much for sharing the fruit of your time and effort.
  4. So much of that seems obvious now, but a great summary of so much doctrine still being developed at the time. Really enjoyed that.
  5. I love the FI terrain compared to all the other CM games. Thanks for the conversion, we'll enjoy taking/holding that hill top.
  6. Most importantly, Steve does say they plan for all the content for SF to be compatible with SF2.
  7. Nice work. Really captures the feel of bitter city fighting.
  8. Nice pics. He's not doing that asphalt any favors.
  9. The Abrams is indeed amazingly quiet irl.
  10. I most certainly believe it. I didn't say absolute top of the line equipment for Red, I said decent equipment and you can bet BFC will include things within the reasonable range of hypothetical, just as SF had T-80's. No one has a problem with US/Russian conflict. I love BS, but I will love me some SF II every bit as much.
  11. In CMSF II you'll be able to do MOUT vs Uncons, or armored battles with decent equipment on both sides. You might be pleasantly surprised.
  12. Amen. I'll take all the new stuff they ever put out, but I'll be happy with what we have for a looooooooong time.
  13. Had never spent any time there. Definitely a ton of good info.
  14. Nothing to worry about. Having him was great, but Charles did it all for many years and I'm sure he can do it all until they find someone else that meet their needs.
  15. This is a great idea, looking forward to seeing any of these that come to fruition.
  16. While I'm aware that the ammo usage could be dramatic, I've always wondered why we don't see more of that on vehicles like the Stryker, that have the room to carry ammo for such a thirsty weapon.
  17. Great vid. I bet the slow speed helps avoid tearing up the pavement.
  18. To expound a bit on earlier tips, I will throw in the obligatory: Never send a half squad anywhere a scout hasn't been. Never send a squad anywhere a half squad hasn't been. Never send a platoon anywhere a squad hasn't been. And, never send a tank into any type of non-open terrain that infantry hasn't crawled all over.
