Dear developers, first of all, I would like to thank you for making this wonderful game. I'm familiar with Combat Mission games since Combat Mission: Barbarossa To Berlin came out. I think that Combat Mission: Black Sea is a true Venice of this game series. I understand that such massive project has a huge potential. Furthermore, I understand that you guys are working hard on each update. So I’ve decided to write you guys an open letter where I would express some functional and content related wishes of myself, and where people would be able to share their thoughts as well. So
"CMFB uses the v3.0 engine of CMx2, same as Red Thunder and Black Sea. Some features that are new to the Western Front include mortars being able to fire from inside their halftracks, and tank riders." Are there no new features for the CMx2 engine ? Was there some fine tuning in the mechanics (infantry spotting/cover) or will AI improvements be added ? Will there be any new graphic effects and features, improvements or optimizations ? I just need some news on that otherwise i cant justify spending money on it. BFC must have done something to improve gameplay...please tell us.
I would like to offer a suggestion to battlefront that could improve the overall quality of the game and strategy. Adding the ability to make map graphics. Explained: The op order screen does a great job of following the standard op order format. A feature that allows either a MGRS map to add graphics for phase lines or that allows you to place notes on the 3d map itself would greatly improve the planning process either in setup phase or in actual play. Players that prefer RT over wego should also be able to do this during a game pause. I love turn based but RT adds an element of realism
