  1. Apologies - I've just picked this up. Don't know how I missed it! In RL as has been pointed out, Wittmann's actions, for whatever reasons ended up with poor outcomes for his command. In reality Wittmann's command going up in smoke was not the edn of the battle. Plenty more went on for the rest of the day - an account of the action can be found in the accompanying PDF. Yup Shermans attempting to go toe to toe with Tigers and Panthers will not fair well at all at all. The scenario can be played H2H but if the German player uses better tactics than were used in RL they will tend to fair better than what happened in the RL action. Cheery! PS just minded @Bil Hardenberger did an excellent AAR of his PBEM
  2. Debussing. Getting ready to clear some Soviet held trenches. Moving up to them under supporting fire. Chucking grenades in before final assault.
  3. Just seen this! my understanding (right or wrong) is it applies to all troops in the core units file. If a core unit has been heavily engaged you will more likely notice the effect of this on the previously engaged core unit. not much help bring conjecture but that’s what I’ve used in my own campaigns and not noticed anything at odds with that assumption. cheery!
  4. I don't know but @Bootie who manages the site might have the answer?
  5. @CanuckGamer Link to scenario depot for scenarios (64 listed) for CMRT https://www.thefewgoodmen.com/tsd3/category/cm-red-thunder/cm-red-thunder-add-ons-scenarios/ And campaigns (4 listed) https://www.thefewgoodmen.com/tsd3/category/cm-red-thunder/cm-red-thunder-campaigns/
  6. Following on from this you might be interested to read @Bil Hardenberger's blog post on his excellent battledrills blog https://battledrill.blogspot.com/2020/02/tactically-correct-driving-armored.html He's annotated it to give some useful CM advice also.
  7. I’ve found once you locate the enemy in woods - ideally a sound contact - moving your troops forward in bounds using area fire ahead of them often suppresses them enough to get close and use grenades. Or they break and run. The 251/9 are also really useful in supporting this role by using area fire. Take it slow.
  8. You tried adding the game folder and exe file to your anti-virus exceptions?
  9. What Ben said. I'd also add you might want to consider rewarding the player for doing well in the previous actions otherwise conceptually if its all to win or lose on the last battle why bother with the previous ones...? Anyways good convo re scoring in campaigns here
  10. Another brilliant AAR thanks @Heinrich505 I like the wee vignettes with key characters you weave through the narrative, help to make it real. Really pleased that you enjoyed it. oh and thank you for the comments all - nice to know people appreciate the stuff I make. Thank you all
  11. The clip does not show any tree foliage hence why I asked. Previous issues with spotting often occur as player has toggled off the trees. But it s pretty poor video quality so not really sure what is going on TBH.
  12. You playing with trees toggled off?
  13. I've just had some issues with CMRT and root cause appears to have been Windows Defender. I have now installed Avast (have a premium account via work) and CMRT exes work fine now. Took a fair bot of fiddling about as have not had any problems (so i thought) with Windows Defender prior.
  14. Just saw this picture on a Facebook group
  15. It happens in CMRT. I’m playing a PBEM and I’ve had my scout teams mauled. Survivors were busy providing first aid. Does depend on what else is going on around them and their morale situation though.
  16. Other issue could be his game has been patched since the games were saved? i.e. save games were done in older game engine version.
  17. That’s excellent! Cheers Ben. Saves time counting lines - incorrectly!!
  18. If I recall, and I’d have to double check... but Malinovo is the name used generally in the west to refer to the place whilst Malinava is the name I have seen referenced more in Russian accounts. Oh there is a PDF in the scenario zip file with all the info I found about the action including the Soviet casualty list.
