  1. Saw em live in Glasgow few years back. Brilliant live. Even had a tank on stage!
  2. On the plus side - least you read it! I'm convinced few players do read the briefing. And if they do. I think fewer comprehend it. P.S. Not one of mine by the way.
  3. Correct it’s set at dawn and east is to the left of the Panther.
  4. Link updated now at the original scenario thread.
  5. Updated dropbox link to beta v2 - I would appreciate any feedback on this thanks. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/9utcncif8j73y8v/AADD-i2_aRAkij-35ovFMGR1a?dl=0 Cheery!
  6. It’sthe drop box link gone. I’d a clear out of my Dropbox account. Give me till this evening and I’ll reupload. Away from my pc just now. cheery!
  7. He! Awra best! Be keen to hear how you get on? Ta!
  8. Thanks for this Your oppo did well I think in a H2H match.
  9. Hi Erwin The v2 beta was a test version I did a limited release on. It had a beefed up Soviet OOB on basis of some feedback I received on v1. I was not convinced myself this was required but I'd some feedback from credible playertesters to to that end so released a test version. TBH I've not had much feedback on that and the v1 release seems to have had overwhelmingly positive feedback. So if you want the option/chance of getting a real kicking playing this go for Beta 2 Link to the original thread FYI
  10. A creating and testing a campaign script - joy! My top tips, FWIW, to avoid distress once you have the inevitable spelling and path glitches ironed out in your campaign script is: a/ with your campaign scenarios create a master compilation folder and add all your scenarios that work in the compile in there (you've most likely done that as you are now checking the campaign compile). That way you know this all works. b/ if you change/amend a mission avoid renaming the version if you can (this does take some OCD copy and back-up skills to maintain version integrity) but renaming things to e.g. MyCampaignMission_v3 to MyCampaignMission_v4 will screw up the script and you are back to square one chasing down script errors... c/ after fiddling with missions and tweaking them you can then go through and replace the missions in the compile one by one to overwrite them. Sure there are other ways of doing this but found this works for me.
  11. Thought you intel boys just guessed anyways?
  12. Not many people can pull off wearing a kilt topless! Technically they are wearing plaids.
  13. He! I mind a load of RPGs whizzing about - made it rather exciting. I may, on reflection, have been a tad 'over' aggressive - if there is such a thing!
  14. Aye it’s useful video also. I did ask him if he was planning on more Soviet tactics etc videos. He replied they did not get as much attention - so effort to create the video vs views was not a great return. Shame - so I hope he does create some additional Soviet focus content esp on armoured tactics etc.
  15. It was not unusual for a German armoured officer to scout the terrain ahead of an attack. That was considered a <good> thing to do. I know of two German armoured commanders of the top of my head who routinely would do this. Bäke and Carius. it would be easy to check the claims the tanks KOd by referencing us unit reports. As to the chap engaging tanks with a panzerfaust. Whilst I’m not sure the boss taking unilateral action is a good thing generally it did appear to pay off in this case.
  16. Worth also listening/watching this regarding the concept of 'Aces'
  17. This thread covers campaign scoring. Few variables to consider.
  18. If they are no on TSDIII then I'm not sure where they are then. People create stuff but often just post a dropbox link and a create a thread in the forum. Guess you could always search the forums for threads with these names?
