BFCElvis
There was a very odd, and important, bug that was found with Javelins. It's been fixed with this patch

Zveroboy1
There was something new and a tad shocking about this patch. It didn't reset the hotkey.txt.
Erwin
FWIW: Just in case anyone else had issues getting the patch to run... The patch didn't run on my machine until after I did a reboot. After that all installed ok (I think).
Holman
On CMSF2 patch installation: Double-check your installation folder as you run it. If you're not careful, CMSF2 patches try to create an extra game folder inside the main game folder (so that you wind up with "C:\[wherever]\Battlefront\Combat Mission Shock Force 2\Combat Mission Shock Force 2" and the game will not find the new data there. The other games' patches don't do this.
Ghost of Charlemagne
The T-62M is still missing its smoke launcher.
Ghost of Charlemagne
T-72AV/T-72AV-Turms-T model is also missing its smoke launcher. Syrian Special Forces trucks carry 7,62x39 instead of 7,62x54R. Airborne squads still only have 100 7,62x54R rounds.

waffelmann
Huhu @BFCElvis! As I understand it, a patch for CMSF2 will be coming soon (at some point). Will the patch only implement this new multiplayer function or will it also correct well-known anomalies (I personally would now quickly think of, for example, the graphically incorrect display of the Syrian NVGs or the Syrian paratroopers' ammunition supplies being too low)?
Sgt.Squarehead
Not to mention Red radios (& C2 generally). & Uncon Breach Teams!
AlexUK
I don't really understand the silence on this. It's apparently an obvious bug. It would be good if BF were more open about timings for fixes. Edited January 19, 2022 by AlexUK
Sgt.Squarehead
If I had to guess, the initial focus was on ensuring maximum compatability with CM:SF1 (which had all these bugs & a few bigger ones too) and ensuring CM:SF2 was broadly functioning as intended.....Which they achieved admirably IMHO. Hopefully it's now time to polish off the rough edges and bring the game a bit closer to the newer titles.
