  1. Understandable. However, the lack of bug fixing is not. For example, the ammo bug for the Canadian C15 (TAC-50) has still not been fixed.
  2. Hello, I'm having some trouble with the Semper Fi, Syria Campaign. After completing the mission "Milk Run" and advancing to the next mission "Flirting with Disaster", no reinforcements ever arrive and I'm left with only the starting units (4 HMMWVs). In the prior mission "Milk Run" I exited my armor as the mission briefing said to do and then made the enemy surrender for a total victory with all objectives completed, yet my units didn't continue to the next mission. By the way, these missions follow from choosing "Route Eagle" in the mission "Breakout" I have made sure that I downloaded the latest campaign from the Battlefront website. Thanks in advance.
  3. Just installed the 2.13 patch and noticed something interesting in the patch notes for 2.12 which was included with 2.13 I guess: V2.12 Patch Notes: ... BUG FIXES * FIXED: Blast values for some HE shells Having started a new Hammer's Flank Campaign and launching the BM-31-12 300mm rockets at the Germans with little damage done (for example I had one of these rockets land right next to a PAK-40 with no casualties inflicted) it seems this tweaking of HE blast values has been overdone. Has anyone else noticed this?
  4. Damn, the link doesn't work. Does anyone have a copy of this?
  5. CM is very CPU intensive so perhaps try and see if you can find a PC with a better CPU.
  6. How about bugs in CM: Shock Force 2, like the T-72AV missing the smoke launchers. Will these be fixed as well?
  7. I hope you will dedicate some time to fixing some of the many bugs that have been reported over the years.
  8. Link is down. Do you still have does Kieme mods - specifically his Russian soldiers skins?
  9. As I understand it the Pz IV was harder and more time-consuming to produce than the Panther, albeit slightly cheaper, and had quite a few reliability issues right up to the end of the war (exacerbated by the increased weight as more armor was added). Of course we have to consider that the Pz. IV was designed in 1936. In my opinion, the Germans should have done what their opponents did and focused all their efforts on as few different models as possible. As has already been pointed out the Pz. III chassis proved to be an excellent platform for self-propelled guns and the Panther was a very good vehicle for what it was - although it entered service too late to be able to change to outcome of the war. Perhaps a close copy of the T-34 or Sherman would have been the best option.
  10. Why is there no RPO Rys in the game? According to readily available online sources it entered service in 1975 and used was widely used by Soviet forces during Afghanistan campaign which sort of means it falls within the timeframe of CM:Cold War.
  11. Ammo dumps are missing the following types of ammunition no matter which vehicle is "dismounted": 50.cal ammo 40x53mm ammo (for GMG) M-72 LAW (M47 Dragon is present though)
  12. Not. The BMP-3K coax-machinegun bug has not been fixed either.
  13. Can we get a fix for the BMP-3K too please. The machinegun muzzleflash animation is bugged.
  14. Budgeting of ammo perhaps. The British forces in Germany would have been seriously outnumbered, and supply would not be easy, so economy of ammo seems like a good idea. The Warrior does have a generous amount of AP ammo, due to its role as a vehicle-killer. . The US and Russians were in a different position than the British. The US had a huge supply system to back up its forces, and the Russians; well, they didn't expect their vehicles to survive long enough for resupply to become an issue (and their advances were incremental with units being substituted/rotated as each objective was reached).
  15. The British Army has always had a particular obsession with ammo consumption/supply - which is no doubt linked to some of their greatest defeats in battle being linked to running out of ammunition. I too was puzzled about the Warrior until I did a bit of research about its background. It was designed and built in the late Cold War and meant to serve with British Armoured Troops in Germany, where it would be facing hordes of Soviet tanks and IFVs/APCs. In order to avoid that the vehicle blasted away its ammo within minutes, the slow-firing and 3-6-round Rarden was purposely chosen to ensure that the Warrior would remain combat effective for longer. Also, the lack of a stabilizer for the cannon meant that the crews were encouraged to remain in the pre-planned and prepared defensive positions the British Army would assume if war broke out. The ammo loadout of the Warrior is a clear indication of this role. Also, to the Rarden's credit, it did have the major benefit of not requiring an external power source and can therefore remain in action even if the vehicle's engine is disabled or turned off. Curiously the export version of the Warrior (called the Desert Warrior) which was acquired by Kuwait is equipped with the 25mm Bushmaster, rather than the Rarden. About the use of the Warrior in-game, I personally tend to mainly use its machinegun with a cannon for emergencies and/or armoured targets. This does require a lot of micro-management, which can be a bit tedious (setting target arcs is quick but it can lead to some frustrating situations).
  16. I'm more hopeful about fire being implemented like in the old games - where buildings and stuff could be set on fire and destroyed. Think napalm. And thermobaric explosives.
  17. UHhhhh...!!! Exciting stuff. This setting should be a lot more balanced than the other post-WW2 titles. Let's all cross our fingers for a 2022 release with CM:RT Fire and Rubble and the CM:BS expansion in 2021.
  18. A bit off-topic but I really hope we will one day see official modding tools. It would be a great way of engaging the CM community now that Battlefront has hit Steam and the player base is growing across multiple platfroms.
  19. That's not a Ratnik uniform. So that is probably not a "green little man".
  20. Happy New Year. Nice to see an update. Personally, Engine 5 Upgrade excites me the most. Hopefully roads will get some love.
  21. The game really needs a suppression command to help conserve ammo and make fire and maneuver tactics more doable. I imagine it working in the way that each soldier in a unit shoots one round, then follows a 1-2 second pause, and then the next soldier shoots.
  22. T-72AV/T-72AV-Turms-T model is also missing its smoke launcher. Syrian Special Forces trucks carry 7,62x39 instead of 7,62x54R. Airborne squads still only have 100 7,62x54R rounds.
