Mord
If somehow the rights to CMA could be crowd funded and bought would BFC consider updating it? Yeah, it's a long shot. But what would Snowball care. They abandoned the title in less then 6 months after it was released. Mord.
sburke
Interesting idea. Not sure if BF would be interested even if it was given to them free. I know I'd be interested if they produced, but no idea what sales were like.
Mord
LOL. Steve would probably hang himself and Charles would leap out of his jar. But man, it would be SWEEt to see all those models updated, especially all the infantry! Mord.
DerKommissar
I'd buy that for a dollar... or maybe a hundred. CMA was the first CM2 I played and the only CM2 not at 4.
Erwin
I'd buy an updated CMA as well. The game is a wonderful complete change of pace and era. Given the enthusiasm for CMSF2, there seems to be a market for reduxes.
AlexUK
I would buy too.

Sgt.Squarehead
@Mord You've said something that I've been thinking for quite some time.....Will definitely contribute if there's a possibility.

z1812
CMA is quite underrated. A very interesting game. It would be great to see it updated.
mjkerner
Oh yeah, I’d throw in a $100 easy for a CM:A redo!
Abdolmartin
If that were happening, I'd pay double or triple the standard price of CM games for it.
Rangoon
I'd also love to see CMA updated, and I'd buy it all over again.
SapperHarvey
Same here, I'd definitely buy an updated version of CM:A.

mjkerner
I’m cheating and giving this another +1, just because seeing how sweet CMSF2 looks from the demo (I knew it was going to be good!), you know a rework of CM:A would be Da Bomb!
SchnelleMeyer
Supporting a rework of CMA. I would definately buy CMA2 if it ever sees the light of day. The Soviet - Afghan war is just a facinating theme to me.
Erwin
Me 2. CMA is my favorite on par with CMSF. However, since CMA was made by a Russian(?) outfit and they programmed things a little differently (some skins are different than the way they are in other CM2 titles etc.) it may be much more complex to bring it up to current v4 standards. Not sure CMA sold that well when it came out either. But, then again I recall how only a few of us were vocal about asking for CMSF2 after CMBN was released 7 years ago and were told "no way", but guess what... In the same way some of us are also asking about CM2 Afrika Korps. One objection is that "the desert is boring"(!). Can't understand why since CMSF2 provides all the desert terrain one needs and people seem to discovered that they love that.
SimpleSimon
CMA2 sure buy, over here. Quote In the same way some of us are also asking about CM2 Afrika Korps. The games have more than enough tools at their disposal to be interesting. The issue is just lack of imagination and poor research. If you set some Grants and Panzers to fight over a 2kmx2km map of flat desert sure that's not very exciting. If people think that's how all or even most of the fighting in North Africa happened wellllll... There were some wonderful scenarios made for CM1 with very interesting terrain and situations. Maybe most people haven't seen a desert and think it's either all sand dunes, or featureless flat. The highly desired CMSF2 is desert terrain. That's the irony. Just imagine it with WW2 equipment. And much of it could be ported or modded from CMFI
marklaker
Aye! Still play CMA fairly often. With a little imagination it's not difficult to immerse yourself, even with the outdated engine and models. Currently slogging my way through a poppy field with a DRA unit, awaiting the inevitable ambush.
Erwin
Sgt Slaughter was working one some very interesting CMA scenarios and at least one campaign. Not sure what happened as I don't recall him finishing anything.
