Ghost of Charlemagne got a reaction from Bulletpoint in Buildings collapsing
Yes realtime. Like the standard decals, but with the black area being transparent to give the proper effect..
In a way yes. I would like to be able to riddle a building with bullet and shell holes rather than just have the two-stage damage system that ends with the walls collapsing.

Hopefully we will get an update from Steve. I am a man of habit (OCD?), and the absence of an update has, I believe, led to a tooth infection so far.

Ghost of Charlemagne reacted to 37mm in Initial 'All in One' modpack
One of my ongoing side projects (aimed, mostly, at the new influx of Steam Players) is to host an 'All in One' for every CM game here.
This is my initial effort for RT & its primary feature is a large collection of weathered vehicle mods (by @kohlenklau, @umlaut  & @Aristoteles ) renamed & tagged so that they now work with F&R. It also features terrain mods by @SeinfeldRules, UI mods by @rocketman, @Marco Bergman & @Volksgrenadier, Infantry mods by @EZ, @Tashtego & @Ithikial_AU, loading screens by @umlaut, building mods by @Kieme(ITA) & @Tanks a Lot as well as the ME effects package, ME soundscape & (subdued & fixed) superpack voices by @ironsturm plus many more others.
I know a lot of people had issues with their old RT mods & the new Fire & Rubble module so hopefully this modpack will be of some interest to them.
Here's a taster of some of what you can expect...

    Here's the modpack link...

Ghost of Charlemagne reacted to Falaise in june july august and september V2
Here is the new version of the 4 months June July August and September (for @Aragorn2002) which uses @Lucky_Strike mods.
it works on the same principle as the previous version
    https://www.dropbox.com/sh/gusx1a43oah26px/AAAegFjxuQtbkwb0s58cgNgma?dl=0

The goal is to use as many of the fantastic of @Lucky-Strike bmps as possible over the course of the four months.
I took the time to be able to compare and refine, watching the evolution of nature during these 4 months. The richness of the lucky strike mod offers a (very) large number of combinations!!

In addition to the Lucky Strike mods other are original textures
I also tweaked the Ramblers mod for the trees by changing the colors and mixing them with the stock and Lucky Strike ones to break the repeat effect.
You will also find the plowed fields of Kieme and Aris modified so that the colors match the Norman soil which is brown.
Finally the whole has been reworked in color and saturation.
For reasons of balance so that if you are flush with the ground or at half height and height, some BMP does not appear "tackled" giving an unpleasant effect

You will also find a multitude of small insignificant details but which to put together give a real impression of the Normandy countryside.

The mods that I offer you, largely build and combine with these original textures, I advise you to remove all other vegetation and terrain mods to get the best result.

There are 6 files: one called land of Normandy

This is to be permanently installed in the z folder

Then 5 other files called June, Wet July and Dry July, August and September which must be installed as desired in z

You have to choose depending on the scenario which you are going to install in z. As soon as you take a scenario that changes months, all you have to do is put the corresponding "month" folder, thinking that you have deleted the previous "month" folder.

“Rendons a César ce qui est a César”
Without the existence of  @Lucky-Strike  Hedgerow hell mod, this mod would have been impossible. BIG BIG THANK you to him
I invite you to watch the post very carefully and strongly advise you to use "zzzzzz-LS-new-bocage-straight-1" which gives a big plus to the general aspect of the game

Top layer of containers packing a mixture of 3M54 Kalibr & P-800 Oniks (I'm sure the Russians would be happy to sell them).....By the time you detect the launch signature the P-800s are already taking out your radars, command & control centres etc.  Then the Kalibrs arrive.

I understood the jist of what was being said, and yes, we should be allowed to modify files.
It's a slap in the face when customers are told that they are preferred over the military. Then, the next year there are features put into CM:P that we have been asking about for years. Behind our backs! Then staff said well I dont know anything about that when it surfaced! haha lol! idiots!
How hard is it to be truthful and straightforward with people you personally do business with?

Ghost of Charlemagne reacted to Haiduk in RPO Rys
CMBS has RPO-A "Shmel' ", it is not the same the RPO "Rys' " and out of CMCW timeline. RPO-A was in experimental use in Afganistan since 1984 and was adopted in 1988.
This is RPO, 1975. It contains of two parts - the launcher with bipod (also shoulder launch possible) and the container with thermobaric rocket, attaching from the back of launcher. Caliber 110 mm, effective range - 190 m, maximum range - 400 m, 1,44 m length, 12,6 kg weight

This is RPO-A, 1984-88. More compact and lighter launcher which already contains the rocket. Only shoulder launch. Caliber 93 mm, effective range 600 m, maximum range 1000 m, 0,92 m lenght, 11 kg weight

Poms, Dings, Slopes, Square heads, Yanks, Canucks that's what I would call you last year. This year it is British, Italians, Asian, Germans, Americans, and Canadians. What people call me is none of my business. Welcome to the politically correct world, some words are acceptable in some versions of English and unacceptable in others. I won't write here what they call Japanese People in an Australian RSL Club. After all the WW2 Veterans are now Centenarians leave the old guys in peace.

I looked from the start of this thread and realized that you have interposed yourself into a thread to which you have made no contribution whatsoever, and are merely attempting to derail this thread.
This is exactly the sort of thing you would complain about if anyone interrupted your thread.  I'd say this as a good example of hypocritical virtue signalling.  If you have nothing to contribute, why are you disrupting our conversation about a WW2 game?  If you are auditioning to be part of the thought and censorship police, China would love to have you.

Wow.  If that is the standard around here, a lot of people on these forums would lose teeth and more for saying lots of things that offend me.  Ridiculous sensitivity is imploding our culture imo.  Or maybe you are one of those who don't believe we euro westerners have a culture cos we "stole" it.

We all abbreviate things all the time.  Please let's not get into political correctness forcing us to spell out every word fully.  Some people will always be offended by something.  I am offended by many things too.  I hold my tongue cos I know it's not intentional.

I thought we wanted all-female formations as the Soviets had, to virtue signal our "me too" credentials.  Surely you are not hinting that women warriors cannot do all the things men can do?  You'll have sburke calling you a male chauvinist pig next.
Uniforms are quite baggy, so no real sexy shapes are easily seen - not at the height level most folks play CM anyway.

They have... it's called languages.  Simply use an existing nation's language and mod it to female.  (May have to mod that nation's uniforms as well of course.)

Ghost of Charlemagne reacted to Erwin in So when will the next project be officially announced?
Those of us who have supported BF from the early days of CM1 do have the impression that the "plan" was to work backwards to Early War.  Hence the disappointment that BF now seems to be backing away from that.  Most of the late war products are more or less the same.  In the final few years of CM1 I recall that all our tournaments were based during early to mid-war eras and used minor country units as we had all gotten bored with late war even back then.  I don't want to take away any kudos from the developers of the late war games, but have faithfully been buying products for the last 8+ years with the expectation that we would eventually be able to play the whole war as with CM1.

I hope that sales are strong enough that work on a CM3 Engine can commence. I'd rather have 2 years with no new titles now and a new engine IMO.

The Brits thought they had the optics to hit the target reliably and the gun was made for high accuracy shooting, as opposed to autocannons that relied on a dispersion pattern to increase the chance of a hit from a burst. It was very much a small tank gun.
