I’m talking about multi player for more than 1 v 1.   Like 2v2 or 3v3. I think BFC called it multi multi player or co play.

If we are mothballing the tanks, I vote for POWER ARMOR!!!!!!! Now it is only a matter of deciding:

    or

If these options are not logistically friendly or something I guess mechs will suffice.

Some excerpts of the descriptions of the Battle of Voznesenk, including a map of the area, excellent scenario material:
    https://www.wsj.com/articles/ukraine-russia-voznesensk-town-battle-11647444734?mod=djemalertNEWS
    -
    - The Russian assault began with missile strikes and shelling that hit central Voznesensk, destroying the municipal swimming pool and damaging high-rises.
    - Helicopters dropped Russian air-assault troops in a forested ridge southwest of Voznesensk, as an armored column drove from the southeast.
    - Mr. Velichko said a local collaborator with the Russians, a woman driving a Hyundai SUV, showed the Russian column a way through back roads.
    - The Russian tanks  would fire into Voznesensk and immediately drive a few hundred yards away to escape return fire,
    - Mr. Rudenko was on the phone with a Ukrainian artillery unit. Sending coordinates via the Viber social-messaging app, he directed artillery fire at the Russians. So did other local Territorial Defense volunteers around the city.
    - Mayor Velichko worked with local businessmen to dig up the shores of the Mertvovod river that cuts through town so armored personnel vehicles couldn’t ford it.
    - He got other businessmen who owned a quarry and a construction company to block off most streets to channel the Russian column into areas that would be easier to hit with artillery.
    - Ukrainian shelling blew craters in the field, and some Russian vehicles sustained direct hits. Other Ukrainian regular troops and Territorial Defense forces moved toward Russian positions on foot, hitting vehicles with U.S.-supplied Javelin missiles. As Russian armor caught fire—including three of the five tanks in the wheat field—soldiers abandoned functioning vehicles and escaped on foot or sped off in the BTRs that still had fuel.
    - Russian survivors of the Voznesensk battle left behind nearly 30 of their 43 vehicles—tanks, armored personnel carriers, multiple-rocket launchers, trucks—as well as a downed Mi-24 attack helicopter, according to Ukrainian officials in the city.
    - We didn’t have a single tank against them, just rocket-propelled grenades, Javelin missiles and the help of artillery,” said Vadym Dombrovsky, commander of the Ukrainian special-forces reconnaissance group in the area and a Voznesensk resident.

    - Ukrainian officers estimate that some 400 Russian troops took part in the attack. The number would have been bigger if these forces—mostly from the 126th naval infantry brigade based in Perevalnoye, Crimea, hadn’t come under heavy shelling along the way.
    - Russian forces set up base at a gas station at Voznesensk’s entrance. A Russian BTR infantry fighting vehicle drove up to the blown-up bridge over the Mertvovod, opening fire on the Territorial Defense base to the left. Five tanks, supported by a BTR, drove to a wheat field overlooking Voznesensk.
    - A group of Territorial Defense volunteers armed with Kalashnikovs was hiding in a building at that field’s edge. They didn’t have much of a chance against the BTR’s
    - Russian troops in two Ural trucks were preparing to assemble and set up 120mm mortars on the wheat field, but they got only as far as unloading the ammunition before Ukrainian shelling began.
    - The Ukrainian army’s 80th brigade was towing away the last remaining Russian BTRs with “Z” painted on their sides. About 15 Russian tanks and other vehicles were in working or salvageable condition, said Mr. Dombrovsky.

Yes, corruption exists everywhere at different levels. As far as I’m concerned, the most visible corruption in the U.S. are called “political action committees (PACs)” and “Lobbyists.”

The only angle I can think of right now is that he has somehow managed to penetrate the Ukrainian military and government and has cut a drug deal behind the scenes.  However, beyond being insulting to those Ukrainians who are currently dying for their country, this also raise the obvious question of "why do a full scale invasion act?"  I mean if he had sway inside the Ukrainian government why not pull that lever and stage a coup from the inside a la Crimea?  Cruise missiles and massive rocket bombardments do not demonstrate a sophisticated political warfare approach.
So unless Putin has been dozing through the last 30 years of western misadventures or simply has been smoking his own supply and thinks "I will be different" because I ride bears on the weekend, this dance makes no sense.  This is the chapter Clausewitz never got to; "war is sometimes just plain dumb".

Two small QOL things, maybe both of them have already been mentioned:
    1) The 'acquire' command should become something like 'give/take.' I just played a mission today where I accidentally acquired 7.62 ammo for a squad which I dont think actually has any 7.62 weapons. Would be nice to just place it back into the M2. It would also be nice if infantry could pass ammo along to other squads, like ammo bearers. Could make truck drivers more useful as guys who can bring ammo out to an MG squad or rockets to a bazooka team or something. edit: Passing around ammo could lead to some gamey micromanagey situations (and was annoying AF in Men of War lol) so an easy solution could be for vehicles to 'acquire' ammo back from their carried infantry squads. That would let you put away kit you accidentally grabbed or decided you dont need and dont want to risk.
    2) It would be nice to be able to see basic weapons stats for infantry in game somehow. Maybe by clicking on the infantryman you can see the stats for his carried weapon? Im not a dev, so someone smarter than me could that out. But I'm playing CMBS today and while I think I'm mostly well versed in modern weapons, some things are a little unknown to my Cold War-era brain. Like the M110 CSASS, I assume thats a DMR. But what kind of ammo does it take? Probably thats where all that 7.62 in my squads is going. I could go to Wikipedia and look it up of course, but it would be nice for the game to just tell me that without having to alt tab.

    Help!
I've finished a campaign build, BUT the zip file is 26MB...therefore breaches the 20MB limit on https://www.thefewgoodmen.com/tsd3/
If anyone can help it'll be appreciated. Already to go on the 16th Dec as well!

December 16th 05:35, the “Ghost Front” erupts in a maelstrom of noise and violence as Unternehmen Wacht am Rhein begins.
The Rollbahn D Campaign contains 35 linear scenarios built as historically accurate as I’ve been able to achieve.
You control the fortunes of KG Peiper, SG Knittel, and Panzer Brigade 150, along with elements from KG Hansen, KG Sandig, and the 3. Fallschirmjäger-Division.
    Boy did this project snowball!
The Campaign begins with a choice. Either starting at the very beginning or on Day 3 of the offensive. The latter will be an easier route as you’ll have not suffered any losses to your core units. I’ve included here what it takes to progress within the Campaign as not every engagement is balanced. The scenarios range from small to medium to Ben Hur like epics.
I’ve made minor changes to the Day 1-2 scenarios based on the feedback from the Rollbahn D Part 1 Campaign.
    Day1-2
SN01: Murky Merlscheid / Fallshirmjager Regiment 9 / Minor Victory

All the maps are my own, apart from Cheneux, which is stock that I’ve modified. Ranks/uniforms can be inaccurate as command units are above the battalion level.
Each Scenario will be available as a separate download in January.

    Good Luck!

CM is a unique animal. It is not a "computer game". It is a tabletop historical wargame translated to exploit the things that computers are good at. If you have ever sat at a 6 x 3 table and pushed miniatures around, it is the best iteration of that hobby yet. Its graphics more than suffice to represent the elements required to a still-startling degree of fidelity to "real life". It retains gamist features in places, but does not rely on them like many tabletop wargame rulesets these days do. The skybox is way better a background for the game than any wargame club hall I've ever been in, and the ruleset is more intricate a simulation than any hand-calculated set of rules could come close to matching.

But if you expect the total perspective immersion of modern computer games out of it, you're going to be disappointed, cos it ain't that.

As to "all the games are the same", that's true on a very broad and superficial sense, but if you actually play 'em the "progression" between the titles is noticeable. There are common principles, but they are consequences of the fidelity of the simulation: the principles of warfare don't change much. The available tools do, however.

Strategic Layer(dynamic campaigns), Co play, fire, repeat commands for IDF shortening response times, aircraft modeled when appropriate, improved pathfinding, command delays for the initial waypoint of a move with added waypoints just adding to the initial delay, fix the spotting issues specifically instances where you can see just under half of the face of a building but can't area target it due to it's action spot being unseen. That's it for now.

Exactly, we keep getting reskinned and reorganized content but can't get features that have been wanted for what, closing in on 15 years?
Edit: Before everybody goes crazy, I know new units have been added. I know the dev team is small. I also know that if this game wasn't so niche it would've died a long time ago.
