I was wondering if Russia will attack any country this Friday.......................I was told by the Munchkins that this is the best place to visit to find out....morally, ethically, spiritually, physically, positively, absolutely, undeniably and reliably..........so will they?

I wonder if the version released in Russia may be different to the BFC one.

Here are 2 recent articles concerning the i9 versus i7.

I too am considering a new PC, but will wait until later next year. I probably will go with the i9 as I use  photo and music editing software.

Just to say once again that this is a great wargame. Hopefully it will receive some attention from BFC.

The articles I linked generally seem to suggest that if gaming is your prime interest then the i7 would be fine. If one is using a lot of productivity software, and may have software for specialized work like photo, video, or music editing, then the i9 is probably the best choice.

My monitor and computer is set to 100Hz refresh. So far it seems to work well for CM.

I am starting this scenario playing Syrians as a PBEM against a friend. I set RPG teams in ambush positions usually at street corners. The crewed ATGM's are on low rise roofs covering the largest fields of fire possible. Each will be moved, if possible, after firing. Like you, I have one covering the open road to the Milk Factory.
Your plan sounds very much like mine. All my men are hiding. I have not used any target arcs although I may as my opponents attack develops.
I will let you know how it goes.

CMA is quite underrated. A very interesting game. It would be great to see it updated.

This article is very interesting. It lists the Flu Mortality rate in Italy, year by year, from 2013 to 2017. It seems the current death rate while extremely tragic, is not unusual for the country.

Make of it what you will.

I agree that it is time for a new engine. However, releasing the the Allied and Russian Forces in a "pack"  with existing maps, and relying on the community to provide scenarios and campaigns as suggested in this thread, might provide a income stream while working on the new engine.
There may be other "creative approaches" to using what is already available to create new products.

It wouldn't even need to be a full title, a forces expansion pack added to the top of Red Thunder or Final Blitzkrieg (basically just porting some OOB's and equipment from one title to the other), to allow scenario designers to make hypothetical scenarios would be welcome.

I feel this way as well. Except the delay didn't bother me at all since there is so much content in the other games I have not played yet..............................the thing is I know will eventually buy it, if for no other reason but to have my collection complete.

You cannot go wrong with any of the games. They are all excellent. I am playing an email CMFB scenario right now with a friend. The snow is falling and  artillery too. Lots of immersion, tension, and fun.

Also there is a lot you could read in the FAQ section:
It has a tactical tips section but not a list of learn to play or learn tactics - perhaps I should add that. But scan through it and read things that you are interested in and revisit it after a few weeks - you will probably find more you want to read then

There is a lot of back and forth about how bug reporting is done. It would be interesting to know what the process is once the report reaches Battlefront.
The critical thing is perception. I am not sure if the majority feel bugs are being dealt with reasonably or not. However a dedicated process gives customers reassurance. Just like timely updates on what is happening with titles and new additions.
Having worked as one who received and organized the resolution of problems, I found it critical to have reports delivered to one location where they could be prioritized and dealt with in an organized fashion.
I should think this would be beneficial to Battlefront and not a hindrance. It would immediately give those responsible for looking at bugs an idea of the extent of a problem and if it affected more than one title.
BFC already has the help desk. Perhaps bug reports could go there.
If someone takes the time to offer an idea concerning a problem, no matter if it truly makes sense or not, they are doing so because they care about the game. Perhaps a more thoughtful  response would be " I am not sure if that would work but lets kick it upstairs and see if it might be helpful ".
