I don't understand why I've never seen it directly, considering how much time I've spent messing with them.....However they tend to be the very last thing I do on a map and unless the map is enormous, they tend to be done in a couple of sittings, with many saves. FWIW

I don't understand why the US didn't just buy the Centauro B1: They bought ten of them to test the whole wheeled light tank concept, but then decided to make their own version on the Stryker.....Which as we know, could have gone better. Meanwhile in Italy: They're up to a 120mm smoothbore and it's still by far and away the best looking vehicle of its type.

IMHO yes.....With the exception of 'the mad bocage dash' in CM:BN, all of the bugs are squished and the gameplay is significantly better IMHO. None of the licencing issues should take longer than about an hour to fix and not everyone has experienced them.

For me it was more about smiting early war Germans with KVs! PS - That and setting fire to vast wheatfields.

That's my recollection too.....Handy to have some around if you suspect the presence of minefields.

That probably means the mod is not updated for the latest patch, we had the same problem in spades with 'H&E' until we were all patched to the same level. Maybe PM the mod's creator and enquire?

I've got an ESCI/Italeri 1/72 USMC M48A3 with OKB Grigorov suspension on my desk at the moment, as you say getting that very subtly nose-down sit just right, is tricky.

At the price it's a good buy IMHO.....Make sure you find a copy of the 'Major Nosov's Brigade' and 'Competent Incompetence' campaigns, they are much better than either of the stock campaigns IMHO.

Funnily enough I was looking at a build only yesterday based on that ancient, but well proportioned kit (it's still among the best shape-wise, apparently).....What did you use for the engine deck? M48A3 at a guess?
