k is the "klein", German for small version of the 30m range PF. The rest are all designated by range, ie 30, 60, 100, etc.

You can always tell when he's on the phone because the spelling looks like he's either heavily into drugs, or not taking some that he's supposed to.

Not to put it into too simple terms, but if it's a QB then just select weather you like. If it's a scenario then just open it in the editor and change the weather to suit you.

Different often scares people. Which is a shame, because the terrain and units in FI are so wonderfully unique in the CM world. I love it, but then, I love the desert for its unparalleled splendor too and hope we'll get that down the road

Sad that anyone would downvote the OP. Since I started playing in 2000, CM has provided more entertainment for less money by such a large margin, that there isn't even a second place. The price per hour is almost negligible.

Not at all boring. I love scenarios that reward patience and decision making. Doesn't have to be much combat at all to be rewarding.

I constantly keep vehicles on the tab that shows the condition of the weapons, wheels, etc, and I can tell you that wheeled vehicles will absolutely degrade going over rough terrain. Drive through a fence, etc, and you can often see damage. Drive across wire and you'll see yellow sooner rather than later.

Begleitgrenadiers can compete with them on roughly equal terms.

A campaign is a series of linked battles that will include some, or all, of a set of core units, plus other supporting units may or may not be present in any given battle. There isn't one giant map that you can look at for the whole campaign, but you can look at the map for each battle normally. Between battles, depending on how the designer sets it up, units may receive supplies, replacements, and make repairs, or they may not, so you really have to try to achieve your goal with minimal casualties. There are many good campaigns among the various CMx2 titles and they provide a lot of immersion and enjoyment in a single player setting. Once you have FI for a while, (and hopefully you'll want to get the other titles) you will want to play against other human beings. It is an order of magnitude more fun than playing against the AI.
