  1. It seems that CMSF2 will be a huge thing for all of us. The game we all waiting for. As a CM series fan and as a guy who likes to make mods sometimes I'm looking forward to play and mod this game. All my mods related to CMSF will be presented in this topic. I never played that very first CMSF game so for me it will be a new thing. Yet, I'm quite sure that this game will be wonderful.
  2. I know Rome to Victory has just came out, but I was wondering if @Fuser, @Vein @Juju or @umlaut have announced plans to bring their mods to Rome to Victory. The new vehicles and uniforms look great out of the box, but the work the community has put into Fortress Italy these past few years is incredible and I can't help but notice my Sherman IIIs look a lot more beat up than my factory fresh IBs and IIAs. 😂 I know these things take time and most of the prominent modders may not even own R2V yet, I'm just curious.
  3. Recently I was introduced to this game, and it was totally new experience for me. I found it interesting how this game changes the way you think on a tactical level. Furthermore, I found few elements of this game that I would might want to change a little. After some time playing it, I've decided to make few steps towards allies and their operations. It was their equipment that made me interested. As a history lover, and as a person who enjoys this game I've started my work on few modifications. World War Two setting was an initial insparation for me. Modders that were modding World War
  4. I suppose this could rightly apply to all CM titles. I really appreciate the equipment selection as well as the appearance selection in some titles. As seen below, a British Mech Infantry Battalion in Shock Force 2 has a variety of options in Quick Battle: However, as a quality of life improvement, it would be nice to know what the 4 APC options are for without exploding the OOB view and discovering through trial and error. I believe the ww2 titles do this already. In this example: Sniper Team Platoon HQ APC (Includes Company and BN HQ vehicles)
  5. I just got combat mission shock force 2 and i started to play my first game and noticed that the vehicles would not be visible i can see the humans in the vehicles and the icon of the vehicle but the vehicle will not appear i changed the texture quality and detail levels multiple times but to no luck. I have other Combat mission games like Normandy, Red Thunder, and Final blitzkrieg and the vehicles show up with no problem and this is the first time I am having this problem. If anyone has a solution it will be greatly appreciated.
  6. Hi! I'm trying to do some skinning and I would like to start off with a single colour base coat on the skin. The problem is that the skins I want to modify have camo already applied. - I am struggling to remove this without loosing too much of the original texture detail of the original skin. - Been trying some different methods in PS: Select by colour, High pass filter, but I would like to get some more tips from experienced modders/PS user on this. How do you deal with this?
  7. Hi there New Mod on the CMMODs Enjoy and let me know ! JM
  8. Hi Folks A new mod is on the CMMODs Modification of the Big Guns falling shells (without movements of turrets) ! (Second Part of experimental Mod). Hope will be helpfull ! Have fun ! JM
  9. I just finished Blunting the Spear (ep. III) and I was able to QUICKLY rush with all trucks and kubels cross country over kilometers without noticing the slightest damage. I did not even care where the field paths were or if the ground was cereal or green or a ploughed field. As a rural guy and grown up on a farm I have quite some experience the huge difference cfield paths, roads, cross country makes. I think no truck or jeep/kubel would survive more than a few hundred meters how I can dash them at CM's QUICK speed forward cross country. IMO vehicles being constructed for road use and w
  10. I have had this idea for a VERY long time now and decided to go ahead and post and see where it leads. With the addition of hit decals to CM, BFC upped the cool/immersion factor by a mile. The holes and ricochets on tanks and vehicles really adds to the experience. But the one problem I find we have is that vehicles just still look too pristine, even after they have burned for ten turns or suffered a catastrophic brew up. Yeah, we have ragged holes but nothing else to tell the tale. That's where the After Action Series of mods step in. Having seen the pioneering work that Blimey, Umlaut, a
