Bil Hardenberger
Heh. I wondered when someone would catch that.
Piecekeeper
That is wonderful! I wonder how many other hit texts there are? And if you can see all of them when reviewing the battle?
panzermartin
You mean the "M-10 round deflected by trees?" impressive detail!
Sergei
The 'Tank 1' text needs to be made smaller, though. It kind of gets in the way.

Vinnart
Awesome! This another one of those great features from Cmx1 that I am glad is returning.

panzermartin
Your quips cannot hide the fact that I saw it first . Yes of course, all credit to you..I thought the thread was a joke at first...that was funny Seriously, this is indeed great news. Hit texts would be even more useful for RT play when you rarely have the chance to notice if a tank is being hit etc.
Pvt. Ryan
Will this be applied to soldiers as well? HIT: Lower Front Torso
James Crowley
As an old, in every sense of the word, fan of CMX1, all I can say is Alleluliah!
Ryujin
Hahaha... hate to rain on your parade (or hopefully sarcasm), but there are no hit texts, those were added to the pictures later. Notice how it says "tank one" in the same font. Just descriptions from the AAR.
Gryphonne
Finally, I can speak about them Needless to say, I was _really_ pleasantly surprised when I saw them in the beta preview

You might want to take another look at the M-10 and the reply by Bil the beta tester .
Ryujin
I went back and looked at it, I didn't catch the little hit text on the M10! Never mind then .

The comments about the others are "humour".
noxnoctum
Are the fonts gonna be like that? I'm really happy they put this back in, it was sorely missed, but the font looks a bit... funky . As in straight from MS word . Regardless though, VERY happy this is in.

LongLeftFlank
Glad this feature has fans, but I'd personally like an Iron / extreme FOW option to not display this info. What are the chances an AFV shooting at these ranges can see if and where its round has hit (unless the target is brewing up or being abandoned)? I'd also like Iron mode to not display the red crosses for enemy infantry casualties....

Alt-H for your first point, and the red cross will only display if your guys see it happen.
Kanonier Reichmann
This is fantastic news. Now for the inclusion of in-game stats on the units by hitting the <Return> key akin to CMx1 and I'm a very happy camper. Regards Jim R.
James Crowley
Will we see the full range of effects, including partial penetrations and non-penetrating spalling?
