scottie
Well, you can't have a 'preview' AFTER the game is released can you? exactly , april , may , june all sounding far more realistic now.
aka_Hawk
Hmmm .... roughly 1000 US $ just for the plane ticket from my hometown in Norway to Chicago and back, plus hotel, food, etc. Damn. Not this time either.

AstroCat
I'd be interested in checking it out. I was there for the CMAK preview, years ago...
Lt Belenko
With apologies to the Boxtops - - - - Give me a ticket for an aeroplane ain't got time to take a fast train SF days are gone I'm a goin' Norm (andy) Rune, this game is much better
rune
Again, don't read anything into the dates, it is when I have time. For the record, I hosted cmbo, cmbb, cmak, and cmsf previews. So I have a count of three and maybe a fourth. Will wait a week before confirming things. Rune
Gromit
April isn't really all that far away guys- particularly if you are trying to finish up all the last minute items on your program punch list. We are past the midpoint in January already, before you know it February will be gone, March madness will ensue and spring training will be starting (in the states at least). Hell, I still have a hard time believing 2010 has come and gone so quickly. Of course, being 46 tends to accelerate my internal clock somewhat, so your mileage may vary... just sayin'

Michael Emrys
April isn't really all that far away guys... Take it from me, you don't want to be in Chicago before April, and you really don't want to be there before March. Michael
DaveyJJ
I can get a flight from Toronto to Chicago for less than $300 return. That's mighty tempting ... wonder what my wife would think of that expenditure, though.
Lethaface
lol $300 for a preview of a $45 game, gotsto side with your wife there! Try offering to bring $600 worth of shoes from Chicago, that'll do the trick
panzermartin
You can also offer 300 $ to BFC and hopefully they will let you play with the beta version
Bertram
Just 483,- (euros) flying from Amsterdam (by way of Zurich) to Chicago.... Still, to much, but tempting....
finalcut
I own an eighteen wheeler,as an owner operator I find myself in Chicago every other week.As a person that was born and raised in Florida, and still has a home there,I can agree with not wanting to be in Chicago before March.

Rune , cant help but speculate though , nothing else to do around here after reading the AARs for the second time. Can you humour us with the following dates: What date did you host cmbo previews ? What date did you host cmbb previews ? What date did you host cmak previews ? What date did you host cmsf previews ? What date was cmbo released ? What date was cmbb released ? What date was cmak released ? What date was cmsf released ? We can then work out an average to keep us entertained in the meantime. Understand this has little relevanence .... to quote steve "it will be released when its ready"
gibsonm
Just 483,- (euros) flying from Amsterdam (by way of Zurich) to Chicago.... Still, to much, but tempting.... Just because Rune’s will be the first, doesn’t mean it will be the only one. I know at least one person who hails from a place not too far away from you (famous for chocolate and home to NATO) that maybe hosting one.
Krilly
Ah that would be ace! I'll happily invade belgium for a preview, it feels like a fitting start for any good war(game).

rune
Scottie, can i give the dates, certainly I can.... Will I give the dates, not on your life... :0 Good try however. I will have beer for those attending, but if you want something special, get your own. A little birdie is hinting at 12 Feb, but must clear it will the Home General. She is an RN and knows how to use needles, I will not cross her. Rune
gibsonm
When did NATO relocate to Los Angeles? About the same time as it became famous for chocolate and near the Netherlands - namely never.

gibsonm
Well that’s up to: 1. Which Beta Testers want to volunteer to do a bunch of extra unpaid work sorting a venue, etc. 2. What sort of response they get to posts like this.

Gryphonne
I would love a preview. But sadly, the US is no option for me (Netherlands here). If i had cash to burn sure
gibsonm
So what is the date for the AUS preview, and where? My frequent flyer points want to know. Noba. Well as soon as Steve answers the RFI I’ve posted elsewhere about guidance on a “not before date / version” I’ll let you know.
