BFCElvis
I didn't have nearly as much fun with that as I should have. I should have said something like "I know we have missed deadlines before but I promise they will be out in May 2019" And then let that sit there for the last half hour that I finished things up.

Sgt.Squarehead
So, about that CM:BS module? Edited May 3, 2019 by Sgt.Squarehead
Panzer_Freak
I am sure some body already asked this, but where to unpack and install the patch? Where I am not so much into computers, just the strategy games.
domfluff
Extract it anywhere. When you run the setup program, it'll try to find and suggest your CM install directory, which might be something like "C:\Program Files (x86)\Battlefront\Combat Mission Fortress Italy". CMBN has a different default install path, and if you've moved it it could have trouble finding it - you can select the correct folder manually. That should be it.
A Canadian Cat
Actually extract it to an empty folder - there should not be any additional files around the install or you will be sad. Then just make sure the path it wants to install to is the one where the existing game .exe is located. It does a good job guessing but doesn't always get it correct. The carrier sections are going to be lethal now what with that and the resolved Brens. Same solutions not been done to the anti-tank platoon however and they remain mortar-less.
absolutmauser
Downloading on my Mac now. Will play this evening and report back. Very exciting! I've had enough Tom Clancy's The Division 2, which is frankly abusing the name of a dead man.
schwerpunktgrenadier
What engine version should I be seeing on the menu screen? 4.01 after patch? Only installed patch for CMBN so far and engine version is still v4.00.

I've only patched & played CMFI so far, and it says 2.01. (With "Game Engine ver 4" written underneath that). So I think every WW2 title should be beyond x.00 once it's properly patched.

I'll give it another go. my guess is you didn't load the patch quite correctly into the game folder. Check to see if the 4.01 brz is in your data folder and the date stamp on your executable.
