Hello,
I was messing around with models and decided to fix the fact that the ZIS gun shields are way too straight. Ironically they're at the correct angle on the limbered model, so I took the gun shields from those.

Just drop it in your Data/Z folder and you should be fine.

Hello again, with the release of Fire and Rubble I have been working a lot on adapting existing mods to the new module. That includes the great GUI mod by Juju who has sadly ended support for it.
I have added or adapted weapon icons from other iterations of Juju's mods, as well as branches, ranks, etc. However I will tell you that I have made some changes to it that suit my preference more, so you may have to dig into the files to revert to default.

Some of you may have noticed that the SVT-40 magazine does not appear anymore, and may be slightly annoyed by it. Be annoyed no more, I have made a quick fix in Blender to give its magazine back!

Catch-22 is a book that represents 12th Air Force bomber crews and their mission count with a lot of dark humor. It was written by a 12th Air Force airman. Guess he's the devil.
Bill Mauldin may have made a joke about skipping out on a patrol as well. Down to the pits of hell with him. I do respect the G.I. Joe and I think he was a good guy but I don't treat him like a Greek mythology hero either.

Yeah, I played a few games of that with a friend connecting over LAN using a Hamachi server. What CM really needs on top of that is multiple players on each side or co-op so each can take care of their own formations. Frankly, I would pay for an engine upgrade that includes this.

In fact I spend most of my modding time trying to represent U.S. forces in as authentic a way as possible, mostly unit textures (right now I'm trying to work out how I should distribute HBT uniforms in each division), and I collect U.S. WW2 equipment, original or repro. This was a failed joke and I regret it. Let's move on.

The [whitewash] tag only kicks in starting January 1945.

This replaces the panzer wrap with a parka (either white or camo) for the SS and Heer in winter conditions. Unfortunately the headset vanishes when using the parka model.

Move the textures you don't want to use (Camo or White) outside of the folder.

You mean you want whitewashed crewmen?

Infantry only gets slaughtered if you throw it into the meatgrinder without a great enough (at least numerical) advantage, just how it should be. Unfortunately in most scenarios you don't really have a choice, and that's a pretty good representation of the Eastern Front.
