    LET US DO THIS AGAIN! I give everybody quite a bit of time. Make a scenario for the community.
    The 3rd time is the charm is this year's motto!
    Alright, 105 days until X-mas. (Julian 358-263=105).
    Let us swamp the community with some scenarios. Use or modify an existing map if you need to (and give polite credit in your briefing or designers notes to prevent accusations of being a dreaded parasite!). Make your own simple map! Use the new CM AutoEditor? No Rembrandts are required! Dial it down to 208 x 208, if needed, the teeniest tiniest map you can make. ANY SIZE MAP IS GOOD! That's what she said! Playable from only one side is AOK. Just make sure to say that guidance in the main cover description. Use just a tiny force. Put the AI on defence and the AI plan is EASIER! Use just a small timeframe of 10 minutes!  I (and a butt ton of others) am here to lend a hand to answer questions or go now and read the famous JonS scenario guide pdf in your main install folder. All these different titles can use some new juices. I got a couple coming down.
    Or whatever size map and time you want!
    In 2021 we got between 16 and 20 new scenarios.
    In 2022 we got 14 new scenarios.
    I am not a CMCW, CMSF2, CMBS modern war bubba but please use this as a reason to make a scenario for those games. This is not just for WW2 games.

    I did the same for my "Bloody Buron Overhaul". Provided two or three save files so that players can bypass the 20 minute bombardment if they want. It also prevents players from altering the historical bombardment.

    I'm probably completely wrong . . . could it be the the tank designated as  M4A3(76)W ? There is an early and mid variant I found using a scenario date of May '45 - I didn't check other dates.

    Yup, the Knobford Forester Rgt has had enough and it's time for tea and sandwiches.  Sadly they didn't reach the objective so it's time to gather around the briefing table and think up a new strategy!  Well played, very enjoyable game and congrats on the win

    Chris gets first blood. A scout car with a .50 cal pegged one of my Sahariana AT wagon guys.
    He is dropping smoke near the objective. Perhaps he has a Fast Group enroute...some Bren carriers or jeeps maybe?
    My assault group disembarks from the Fiats...in a defilade position.
    That one officer looks like he maybe dropped his St Christopher medal?
    Sunhelmets look so great. @boygarvin 's uniforms are so awesome. aka pitbull. Thanks buddy.

    Very enjoyable so far.  I am not sure my long range fire support is doing very well but there is only so far you can throw a Haggis!!

    Chris KO'd the HQ vehicle for my Sahariana boys.
    The bum rush worked for leg 1. Leg 2 got peppered by a Vickers. Nobody in that Fiat is too "Viva! Viva!" right now...
    He has infantry coming over the hills on my left. I have focused a bunch of direct fire at that area. Now I finally have some of the mortars in position...
    My infantry are resting in the brush getting ready to make the dash to the objective. TIRED- - - >TIRING- - - >
    This one squad allowed a guy to bring along his dear old Mom for cooking.
    Here he is taking orders for lunch al fresco...

    My Dad was 18 in 1944. He was USN armed guard on Liberty ship convoys. 3" guns. 40mm ack ack. Could he be the brain behind a 1950 detailed recount of his convoy actions?

    While you can move mods in and out like @WimO suggests but if you have the HD space multiple installs works fine too. I typically have more then one install of the games but for me it's for managing upgrades in PBEM and testing.

    What about using just a single installation of CMFI but five copies of your z folder. You can just 'MOVE' the appropriate z folder in and out of the CMFI installation. You can do that either manually as required or using JSGME.
    Or place your mods-in-progress in JSGME and move the individual mod in  and out. Then you don't need five installs of anything.

    Nah both sides always, for h2h and vs ai. Regulars are way too good especially after footage from ukraine, and reading/listening to books like "An artilleryman in stalingrad" or "Tigers in the mud"

    @Andrew6850 recently shared to me a great map for Afrika. Alam El Halfa. She's a nice, big girl of a map. Thank you Andrew.
    Starting this weekend I will play a Medium ME QB using it versus a buddy out in Scotland. He wanted the ME and he picked British mixed. I rolled a die and got Italians (also mixed). I will not do an intense DAR but will plop a few screenshots and comments here. It uses Pitbull's Italian uniforms and the sunhelmet mod I did back a ways.
    Since it is a Meeting Engagement, I took license to add a center area oasis/well/mosque as the fictional objective...

    Great stuff mate!
    One small mapping point: unlike WW2 Europe, power or phone poles in rural 1950 Korea would be quite rare except along rail lines, or in the immediate area of (largely coastal) industrial cities, or in the North connecting hydroelectric dams to cities.

    There is a patch for CMFI (2.20) that was released yesterday (see BFC home page)! I'm surprised it was not announced on the forum!
     
     
    A release note including the fixes would be appreciated...
    Anyway I'll wait to download it as I've got a CMFI PBEM ongoing...

    Is a 2.12 patch for CMFI headed our way at some point that adds "Steam stuff" and maybe sweeps in a few fixes for issues that were corrected from "the list"...?
