  1. Thanks but that doesn't work either, still get the no hotlinking image. Maybe just post a link to the page they're on? Anyway, no big deal was just giving you a heads up
  2. On your bike son! Those pics don't allow hotlinking, can't see anything.
  3. That is a cool tip. I knew you could do stuff like that with waypoints but for some reason never thought of plotting the waypoint on the spot the squad was already sitting. Good stuff.
  4. I've seen this twice with the same hmg crew in a pbem game I'm playing at the moment. They go into deploying for a few turns, then rotate or move around and start deploying again. This goes on in a seemingly endless loop with the mg never setting up. It happened on the 2nd floors of buildings and there were definitely windows in the right place.
  5. Noticing this in the campaigns where losses carry over. Heavily depleted squads tend to spread out loads. Not sure if its a good or bad thing though.
  6. Cheers for posting this, watched it earlier today.
  7. Yeah, this seemed a bit odd to me too. Damn useful though
  8. I enjoy bocage fights, especially if I have demo charges or rhinos Admittedly they can get a bit predictable at times. Theres been a lot of bocage fighting in the single player missions but I haven't seen any in the quick battle maps yet.
  9. Single player it takes me at least a couple of hours for a medium sized one playing in wego.
  10. Whoa, thats annoying and seems way too much. In the past I imported something much heavier and twice the value from the states and didn't have to pay that much, I think it was under 20 quid. From what I've seen on this forum it seems like people in London are getting hit with this charge. Mine came by regular post too with no extra fees.
  11. Yeah, I did the same as you. Not really keen on this mission, the concept is good but it doesn't work very well here imo. My advice would be to not worry too much about getting a good score or doing it right. Just use it to find where a couple of enemy positions are for the next mission then withdraw.
  12. Mine was shipped on the 21st and I got it today. I'm sure the rest of you UK peeps will get it this week.
  13. The problem here is that individuals in the squad can and do fire at different targets. You'd have to have a targeting line for each member of the squad which would just be too much. The rest of your points are fair enough though.
  14. No it's not. There has been some talk about possibly bringing it back in the future. It's worth noting that theres no command delay anymore so you aren't losing anything if you just delete and re-plot.
  15. Cirrus, are you sure you mean indirect? As in having a spotter call in the target? Sounds like you're talking about direct fire (targeting with the mortars themselves) Either way this is just relative spotting in action. If the mortar crew can't see the gun itself it won't show up when you have them selected.
  16. Only one I noticed so far is that A Strange Awakening is titled as A Stange Awakening.
  17. Got mine in the post today, in the south east as well. No damage and no extra fees.
  18. Gunnergoz, just select ceasefire from the menu. I have to echo the praise for this campaign, great stuff.
  19. Depends really, if you're using pause more than once a minute during combat then you're actually getting more control than with wego. Even if you don't use it that often you still have the hugely useful option of pausing the second something goes wrong whereas with wego you have to sit and watch with no control for up to a minute. Of course, if you're talking multiplayer or you never use pause then none of that applies. It is definitely harder to keep track of everything in rt though, if you miss something then theres no rewind to check out what happened. And like many others, the favourite thing about wego for me is the replays. I just enjoy them too much to make the switch to rt.
  20. Yeah, this is the biggest problem with small set up zones. Unavoidable first turn artillery on all of your forces is a bit silly. Have to admit I couldn't resist doing it to my friend who didn't know it was possible yet, he wasn't very happy.
  21. I understand why this is the situation but it does seem a bit of a shame. I discovered CMBO back in the day thanks to the european retail release, might never have heard of it otherwise.
  22. I have a logitech mouse and do exactly this. Stuff I have bound to extra mouse buttons at the moment are: target, camera 180, pause, unit lock and backspace to cancel orders. Obviously still need the keyboard for other hotkeys but putting some on the mouse helps me to be lazy and play one handed more of the time.
  23. Understandable, it's hard to fire a panzerfaust if you have small arms.
  24. With buildings it seems like units on upper floors get torn up more than on the ground floor. Might just be because they're easier to target up there though.
  25. I've seen a minefield almost rout an entire platoon of mine that were on quick. Only the hq and one squad got to the other side, the other two squads panicked halfway through and ran back out of it. About 2-3 casualties per unit I think. This was in a scenario though, so I have no idea how many they ran through.
