  1. Yeah, this would be amazing but it's understandable why it's not in.
  2. lol at "we don't do change" Typical. And thanks bulldog, was confused about that myself.
  3. Don't forget about the people in London that reported being charged 40 quid extra. Thats just plain extortion. I think it was something to do with parcelforce? Import tax is what it is, I didn't pay it this time but I've been hit by it before with other goods. The reason not everything gets hit is because they just don't have the manpower to check absolutely everything and if they did things would grind to a halt. It's pot luck basically.
  4. Yeah, I've noticed that too. You can barely hear them over the weapon sounds. Great mod by the way, thanks.
  5. It just so happens you're in luck, check out this grid mod: http://www.battlefront.com/community/showthread.php?t=98468 Works fine with veins terrain, instructions in the thread.
  6. Narses, just give them a small target arc so they won't fire at anything. That's generally what gets them spotted. Putting them into hide will actually stop them from seeing anything. Which for a spotter is quite a handicap
  7. lol. Hopefully he won't be too offended you called him vile
  8. That's odd. Both of them work fine for me on windows 7 64 bit.
  9. Steve was saying in another thread that normally a crew will bail out if they take two casualties. So yeah, particularly ballsy crew there.
  10. Interesting, perhaps I'm mistaken then. I assumed that the restrictions mentioned were just referring to the more obvious changes on iron. Those quotes are pretty vague though, hard to tell exactly what they mean. Would be nice to get an official explanation.
  11. What differences are those? I thought the only differences were generic infantry icons and the only being able to see what the selected unit sees on iron thing. According to the manual everything else is the same. Basically the same information is available to you on the levels above warrior, you just have to click around a bit more to get it. I suppose that may make a real difference in realtime but it doesn't in wego unless you both agree to not click on enemy units.
  12. Nice, I was wondering if that would work. Didn't have the guts to try it out in a pbem game.
  13. This is why I don't see the point in playing on anything higher than warrior at the moment. Restricting to generic infantry markers is pointless when you can just click on them and see exactly what they are anyway.
  14. There's a pdf of the manual included in the main combat mission directory.
  15. Yeah, I don't really have a problem with them in attack and defend. The problem is mainly meeting engagements, especially with the maps that have really small deployment zones in a corner.
  16. Ah, thought it was probably a plan thing. I know the bit of bocage you're talking about, if all the enemy were in there it must have been a complete slaughter.
  17. Thats strange, for me all the enemy was in the first town. Flanked them, intercepted their retreat and won by surrender without going near the final objective. I had fun but I do agree it was too easy. And yes, the map is good.
  18. Ians observations fit with what I've seen so far. I've stopped calling fire missions where the observer doesn't have a decent view of the area around where I want to hit unless I'm really desperate. Los to a tiny area just isn't good enough, usually results in the arty being way off.
  19. Good point. I do keep forgetting about the reorganisation at waypoints, has messed me up a few times.
  20. I'm always nervous about this. I put an extra waypoint right outside the door I want them to enter through. Haven't seen it go wrong yet. I agree that it can be hard to tell which door you can use sometimes though.
  21. Haha, that pic is hilarious brille I keep forgetting to load up fraps whenever I play, missed a bunch of cool stuff already.
  22. You thought correct, that is how they work. And yes, the ammo bearers show the ammo in their loadout but once thats used up thats it. If you're seeing ammo bearers without any then they must have used it already.
  23. Never been an issue for me (I use the alternate hotkeys) but my friend does this all the time. So funny just to see his tank crews randomly jump out at the start of a turn..lol Always look forward to the next rage fueled email. The mistake I often make is to give orders to the passengers of a vehicle instead of the vehicle itself. Then I watch in horror as they jump out and run off into the open.
