  2. A patriotic sniper takes aim: Meanwhile the main rebel force launches an all out attack on a regime installation (using their earlier victims for cover):
  3. Al Jazeera has a story of relevance: https://www.aljazeera.com/indepth/opinion/pakistan-saudi-money-190215091327661.html
  4. Just downloaded this one, ashamed to say I've not played the original, but I've seen enough GoPro footage of the real thing to be quite intimidated by the whole premise!
  5. 'Secret Pigeon Service', Gordon Corera.
  6. I'd be willing to bet this down to them being rubbish troops, ie: poor soft factors in the editor, being applied to an already poor quality formation.
  7. Is the master map mod dependent? That might limit its utility slightly, especially for those planning on porting it to CM:BS (ie: me).
  8. I'm sure a chat with you would take her straight back to the kindergarten.
  9. PM sent. I'm genuinely interested to know how you believe the Soviets could have prevented the rise of the Taliban or perhaps the morphing of the Mujahidin into the Taliban.
  10. Paging @MOS:96B2P, @IanL, @sburke.....I know it was one of them!
  11. If I hold my breath much longer, I'll turn purple!
  12. Bücker Bü 181 Bestmann with four Panzerfaust.....It's quite real. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bücker_Bü_181 PS - Yes.....I have a kit of one in 1/72.
  13. Do you really believe that? Given the historically dismal record of attempts to impose external 'systems' on Afghanistan, I see Taliban (as a home grown 'institution', however horrible), as best bet for the future of the country.....My sincere apologies to the women of Afghanistan, but there it is.
  14. Here's a quote from my ongoing AAR thread: I finally got what this was about: Horrified to discover they've remade it.....Quite badly by the look of it.
  15. What I've been doing is opening a core unit file, then importing another core unit file for the opposing side, then saving this as a '2xCore' file, which I can then import into a scenario or campaign (in the latter case all the units, of both sides, contained in the '2xCore' file are then governed by campaign scripts). It looks like the variables are endless. Yes.
  16. This sounds intriguing.....Look forward to following your progress.
  17. Ah, that would scupper things, my Lurchers aren't really London dogs!
  18. I've added a 'Core Unit Files' folder to all my CM games. I recently discovered that you can import one (or presumably more) core unit file(s) into another and then import the product into a scenario/campaign.....Possibly useful for double-sided cores and competitive multiplayer tournaments etc.
