  1. But you don't have to pay- and you don't have to stay. In fact you haven't paid anything yet as the product is not out and you are already complaining. So Ken's analogy is more accurate than yours. Not that it surprises me at all. (I do not like green eggs and ham) You are welcome to leave anytime you like. really anytime. Like now even.
  2. If you can't identify a difference between CMSF and the current game play then you have no grasp whatsoever of what exactly constitutes features. Hence my previous statement about delusions and mis representing CM. As to the "many" you keep referring to, would this be the "silent majority" or some other such vague unsubstantiated reference that demagogues use to pretend they actually represent some substantial community? About the only thing you'll push is Steve's patience. I am not optimistic you'll be posting all that much longer.
  3. you brought it up. Just another example of how you carry on a discussion here. And no your behavior hasn't changed one bit. Your opinion about CM, as delusional as it, is has been noted time and again here and you are certainly entitled to it no matter how much you misrepresent everything about CM.
  4. He's referring to a game that doesn't allow you to play anything but the AI.
  5. Hey Boo, Mind removing your flea bitten hound from Emrys's box in front of your place. Seems he is back. You can leave the fleas, he'll probably need a few considering his are probably all dead now that he has had a few baths compliments of the nurses. All of whom I understand have been awarded hazard pay and qualify for health benefits under that NY first responder's bill. As soon as the CDC allows them out of quarantine that is. And for those trying to figure out what Seanachai is going on about in that drunken slurred speech- here is the long version and thank god he didn't use that. http://www.dltk-poems.com/anonymous/sir_patrick/index.htm
  6. For a minute there I thought I was back in the Peng thread. Welcome back. Your cardboard box in front of House Rune has had an addition. I bought a new 4K TV and tossed the box out there. You're welcome.:D
  7. Hell I know I'd be hesitant. One gun hit on that beast and suddenly he is in the crapper. The speed at which those Hellcats can move is scary and that thing can't possibly turn fast enough to track them. He'd have to keep it's flanks protected if he wants to get aggressive and that starts tying down more of his force. Franky I think that piece of Kit is a liability in an attack. His best bet is to put it on overwatch while using something else of whatever he has to try and hunt your Hellcats. Maybe even use some arty to deny locations to them. One 81mm shell in that open topped turret..... My personal suspicion is that thing is gonna go down without ever having found a target. The cost to do that however may be paid by taking losses to whatever supports it.
  8. I see our traitorous Scotsmen are at it again. Looks like this is another one of those "Int'l Nazi units" Didn't know there was one made of Scotsmen. George will be pissed to find that out.
  9. I had a similar idea for urban battleground (well maybe not entirely my idea - lots of folks I think are thinking in the same vein.). By modding mud to appear like other ground tiles you can effectively place mud with complete fog of war. Result is you'd have "rubble" tiles with increased bogging chances that the player would not be aware of. For me that is entirely applicable and would force players to be more conservative about running around towns around in shattered urban locations. Throwing a track trying to traverse the remains of a building that have collapsed into a street.. yeah that sounds about right.
  10. Wow, who knew Heart were WW2 grogs. I always thought the song Barracuda was some stupid social relations jingle.
  11. I just can't believe you are asking us, hasn't your intern already lined up ACME freight moving for you?
  12. all true. There is a lot of related issues here most coming back around to the action square size and the demands on cpu. The ditch lock as a trench doesn't work so well because of how it relates to the size of the action square and the size of the action square is defined by impact on CPU from the spotting demands. The compromises make it work, but mean you have to accept the limitations. Frustrating but it is what it is. I look at the ditchlock trenches as ,ore of an additional flavor item versus an actual combat feature. As as to the water element, I like the stream as a compromise. When creating the Schmidt map in CMBN it was frustrating to not be able to do the stream in the Kall gorge due to water level issues. It is a map I intend to revisit now that we have additional terrain items and larger maps (and an overlay! In doing that map I first created a grid using terrain tiles and you can still see them in the map
  13. So who killed tube guy? :D........... All the way from the CMBN Beta AAR.....
  14. just following up so you at least know. I submitted that save in a ticket. I personally have not seen that particular issue since early testing, but I have seen it. Hopefully with this they can knock it out completely.
  15. well you can pretty much do that now, just put down plain clear terrain in snow conditions. No river or lake is gonna freeze over in 4 hours so it isn't like it is gonna happen during a battle and with the snow you'd still have that flat expanse of white. Creating a decent looking map that depicts a frozen river or lake is a pretty interesting idea. Hmmmmmmm. May have to wait for the CMRT module though to consider it.
  16. mammary artery? Kate the donor? She was asking about you.
  17. There are some regional restrictions on Amazon, but books generally don't have an issue. It tends to more be a video issue and some products.
  18. He should know Kate Upton is distraught and will be out to see him right away. I have asked her to delay her visit to allow him to recover a bit first.
  19. I live by my kindle but not so much for military history. My kindle doesn't do so well at expanding pics and maps so if you are ordering a book where those are important, I'd still get the book.
  20. Haven't seen this one in a while. Do you have a save you can forward?
  21. The wounded guys are fighting back to hold onto their cash and valuables, the dead guys can't so looting goes much quicker.
