At long last - after nine years of struggling - I finally managed to complete the second mission in the Troina Campaign: The infamous "Hill 1209".

I think you´re wrong, Phil (or perhaps we are not talking about the same thing?)

In my experience you can not assign different mod types to different versions of the same vehicle.

To simplify, let us  say that I have made a red, a green and a blue Panzer III. Now I could give all the red bmp´s the number 1, the greens number 2 and the blues number 3. Like this for the red:
    pz-iiim-hull1.bmp
    pz-iiim-skirts1.bmp
    pz-iiim-turret1.bmp
    And this for the green:
    pz-iiim-hull2.bmp - and so on.
But the game loads all the files randomly, so you will end up with one tank with a green turret, a red hull and blue skirts, while another might have blue turret and skirts, but a red hull. And so on.
I have never been able to find a method that would ensure that one tank is only green, only red or only blue.

I think the vanilla Panzer III´s look very nice - well in fact a bit too nice. So I gave them a bit of dust and camo.

There are three different camo schemes to chose from: Place the folder with your favorite in your mods folder - and leave the other two.

Here´s a Dropbox link for the mods. I´ll remove the folder from Dropbox, when the mods have been released on Cmmods IV.

Gentlemen the Warsaw 44 modification for CMRT is now available for download.  When I get a spare moment I will be firing this one through a review for the YT channel.

Here is a dropbox link to my first 3 Warsaw Uprising scenarios.
    Scenario 1:  "Ambush"
    Scenario 2:  "Car Jackers"

You FIRST need the main Warsaw Uprising Mod folder, JM's uniforms and other stuff, from cmmods. @JM Stuff sent it yesterday...
BUT please also get a small mod folder from my dropbox link above that added some more flavor to Warsaw.
More scenarios will come later this week!
    Thank you

umlaut reacted to kohlenklau in Ideas for a future, most probably the final pack ever for CMFI. The "Ci Vediamo Dopo" Pack (Farewell/See you later!)
These are kohlenklau's selfish ideas for what he would want in the "CMFI Ci Vediamo Dopo pack".
I appreciate the BFC principle players time, the time of the BFC second echelon folks and the time of the BETA testers. I would not want any new TOE's, scenarios or campaigns to hold up the release of this pack.
A good sifting through and gathering of previously developed material in the other titles but not in CMFI would be very cost-effective. Think outside the box. Send it ALL. Anti-tank rifles from CMRT for example.
But the pack needs a vision or 2 of what it might "allow" for the community after it is released.
To me this #1 vision would be better ability to portray Pre-Husky events. That means British vs Italians (pre-DAK), then golden years of DAK, Crete, and finally Torch-Husky timeframe. The old double-turret Grant technical hurdle took until CMAK to solve, maybe it would not get to us. It would be awesome if it did.
Can the dropdown menus in the editor be "unlocked" so to speak? Can we have the date range go from September 1939 to May 1945? I am sure the answer is yes, but how many man-hours and what hassles does it cause? I don't know. I am asking for lobster on my pizza. You're the waiter or cook, YOU just please tell me how much it costs.
Some amount of BETA testing is needed. I officially volunteer!
I will update this thread as I develop a list of specifically what I see as fruit able to be plucked and gathered from other titles.

Yeah you're not wrong but to be fair if you postulate that the only chance Germany had to win the war against the Soviet Union was by having nazis not being nazis you're basically leaving the realm of plausible what ifs to enter plain science fiction. Remember why Hitler invaded in the first place : lebensraum, untermenschen, jewish-bolshevik threats etc. None of these things mesh particularly well with acting as a benevolent conqueror.
