Albert DuBalay reacted to SimpleSimon in So when will the next project be officially announced?
One of my big wishes (Cold War) has been granted. Here's to hoping history will predict the future and we'll all get Combat Mission Blitzkrieg

Just to share how to set up ("off" and "on" MODs" folders) and where to locate the famous "z" folder for the selected MODs. Quick exemple on below (tiny) screenshot. To get to the App content just right click on the App and chose "Show Package Content" then navigate down to the Data folder and create a new folder "z_MODs_on" or simply "z" (doesn't matter). I have also create a "MODs_off" in each game folder where to drops the MODs I am no (yet) using of tried and parked for now.
Below also some useful links to some popular mods. MANY thanks to all contributors !!

Albert DuBalay reacted to Fetchez la Vache in Install mods in the MAC OS X version
I think it was recommended to make a folder called "Z" and place the mod .brz files in it. The files are loaded alphabetically and therefore any mods in the folder called "Z" would be loaded last - which is what you want.
You don't have to call it "Z" I guess. "Z-Force", "Zebedee", "Zee Amerikans Are Coming Hans", etc would all work I would have thought?

As I looked at the "bocage test" map of Lucky Strike, I said to myself that it was a shame to leave this pretty little corner of France to the invader, I then injected a company of liberator with a few vehicles.
in the tall grass they move barely visible
other infiltrates among the hedges
applying the doctrine devellopé by Teddy Roosevelt for the 4th infantry division the progression is done under the devastating fire of an M16 AA
The infantry supports the tanks
It's not enough !!
nobody comes out alive
the liberation will cost a lot

From scenario "The Road to Wiltz".
My troops arrived on the West Hill just seconds before the americans arrived. When they American troops showed up just behind the icy hedgerow at top of the hill they were greeted with a blast of Xmas bullets and Xmas shells. In minutes the three US assaults squads, their leader, the support machine gun team and the flamethrower team were images of the past whilst my 81mm mortar artillery barrage was torning apart the defending team on the East Hill as my other assault team on this side was cautiously progressing under the cover of the dark woods. Meanwhile my paratroops had met with the americans tentative to out flank my West Hill assault. The US tentative surprise counter attack was brutally stopped by their unpleasant encounter of my paratroopers and a support 105mm howitzer tank. The three US tanks also met rapidly their fate when the bravely showed up in front of my ambushed tanks. In less than 25 minutes all was packed with a minimum of casualtiesand 30 US survivors surrendering.
A great scenario and a very pleasant stroll to town. This night we will sleep in town.

Now part two:
As all that gunfire was going on with the two American half-tracks, two more half-tracks were coming up the road behind them, making four in total. Right when the first firefight was ending, the two new half-tracks opened fire down the road. They didn't even see the Stummel right in front of them, but were instead shooting off to the right side of the road where they saw muzzle flashes from the firefight (where my shot-up HQ teams were).
Some of my forward troops had already turned around from infiltrating the city and were rushing back to the sound of shooting behind them. They were about to lay a devastating ambush along the road.
Now that the Americans were shooting, my troops along the road suddenly realized what was right in front of them and then opened fire.
Seemingly every man in this entire squad threw a grenade, and then a panzerfaust was launched:
These guys have no idea what's coming:
See if you can count how many grenades are in this picture!
The half-tracks go boom. Both remaining half-tracks are completely destroyed with all hands lost inside.
After such a shocking few minutes, everything fell quiet for a while. My troops went on without their commander back to their original mission of infiltrating the city, and were eventually victorious.

Screenshot was auto levelled in photoshop with a 25% sharpen filter (because anti-alias made it pretty blurred).
For a "completely" undoctored/unedited version see below. I don't use reshade or anything, those colors are vanilla plus it's pretty dark.

Hi Phil
I made this mod for the Stalingrad mod set. It is a StuG IIIG early where I removed the most of the barrel with alpha channels. It should be part of the Stalingrad mod set.
Dont know if you can use that?
Cheers
