Frankly I only find encouragement in your persistent negativity, if something offends you, it is clearly a worthy pursuit in its own right.

Here's the Pak36(r). As you know it's the captured version of the Soviet F-22 Divisional Gun, which was in fact bigger than the ZiS-3, which itself is bigger than the PaK 38.

I may make a new thread as well to point out that the Soviet AT gun models in CMRT are quite wonky as well.

There will also be Luftwaffe Field Divisions. From what I've seen there were two of them deployed in Northern Italy, and shortly torn apart after being engaged on the front just like most of them.

    Gebirgsjaeger are also coming, probably.

Saying the Dutch are from Holland is like saying all Americans are from Texas. Holland is a province (in fact the biggest if you combine the North and the South) of the Netherlands, and the people from the Netherlands are called the Dutch.
Here is a nice little map for you.

People from the Benelux will always remain touchy about this subject, at least until the sea drowns them all, Germany takes Luxembourg and France annexes Wallonia. So who cares anyway?
(The Flemish can keep their country because they're the only okay people there)

Okay, I confirmed that it can be fixed. Here are the files for the StuG and StuH models from Red Thunder, just drop 'em in your Data Z folder.

Russians have massive pre-scheduled HE. Americans can sit in a ditch and bring HE down any time they want. Germans just pretend they're stronger than the others because they barely have available artillery that's heavier than an 81mm mortar most of the time.

And either way, if you're in a tank, no matter the nationality, you will always be glad to put another HE round into the target. And another. And another.

These are GI's in M43's (late war then) walking next to a knocked out late Pz IV (either H or J) painted in a typical Italian theater camouflage pattern, in an Italian (probably Northern Italian) scenery. Pretty relevant imo.

You can still see that the rifle pouches are misaligned with the belt texture on the M43, which is a problem on the paratrooper's M42's as well, to add up on that. The belt is too high and the pouches are too low.

I'm allowed to be comically ignorant. I'm 400 years old. I only made one purchase, made two free downloads, one refund request, and one more visit after my refund was refused. Perhaps the five £30 thefts were just a co-incidence. Personally I couldn't give a monkey's. My bank gave me my money bank, end of story.
Now about this engine 4 patch.......

As to complexity of the game, its no more complex than Graviteam or Il2.  And a completely valid point is legacy code being the issue.  Its seems to be the same issue over at eSims with Steel Beasts also.  But this game was developed around 2006/2007, not 1999.  That's not far from when Graviteam originally hit the streets.  They are just a small shop also.
To me, the main difference is Graviteam eventually got in bed with Steam and eliminated a number of logistical issues with their game they were wasting their time with.  As soon as Graiteam went to Steam, updates started coming out more frequently.  BFC has chosen to build all that themselves.  Think of all the time Steve has stated he spent fixing the store that could have been spent fixing all these OOB issues.  Is that worth the piece of BFC's soul that Steam asks for?  I don't know.

Whining has more to do with no information, let alone a simple revised ETA, being provided. It's not rocket science - revise a slipped March deadline by providing a *timely* update of... July or October or early-2020 [pick a date]. Posting every other month that we're almost there isn't an effective way of communicating with your customers.
It's not that complicated. What you want to avoid is the mishandling of expectations. Said expectations being set initially, not by the customer, but by the developer.
It's not difficult... post an an update before you blow past the last one. Otherwise, you mangle expectations.
Anyhow, it is what it is. It's obviously more effective to be reactive rather than to be proactive with deliverables.
Plus, it's lot more fun to be wading through 22 pages of my useless posts than it would be to reference a locked thread of *timely* updates from the developer.
Now let's back to eating our young...

I would have thought after 12-13 years of building and patching these games that someone at BFC would have figured out a more methodical way of doing at best, or figured out the effort to do it at worst.

One of the things that have been grating me is the fact that there's no indication on the website of these, more or less game breaking, bugs being present. By trying the demo of CMFI for instance I could easily be led to believe that things are functioning as they ought to be in the current version. When in reality, I could be waiting for a few months to have the game I paid $80 for to take the shape of what was advertised. That's the real kicker here, lack of information, not the very long delay to see the issues addressed. I wonder what happened to the notion expressed in the sales policy that an informed customer is a happy customer.

Chastise me for comparing CM to Graviteam all the time, but even they have a dev answering questions on the Steam and Graviteam forums most of the time. He's not very good at being PR-friendly (he's kind of a dick sometimes, actually) but at least he gives answers.

Nailed it. There's also the Fallschirmjaeger campaign.
There's also no official British, Canadian or even Kiwi campaigns right now. That really should change.

It sounded like you were dismissing it because it was inferior to Combat Mission. Just wanted to clarifiy for other people.
Armored combat is well done in that game in my opinion, and the infantry AI is more independent, however it can lead to some stupid stuff happening, especially tight spaces. Ground deformation due to artillery is also a plus, it actually has trenches/foxholes that go under the ground and field guns are less laughably ineffective than in CM.
If you like fighting across Ukraine's great plains, Graviteam would suit you more. If you like fighting through cities, bocage or more wooded areas then Combat Mission is you jam.
I do admit that I own all of Graviteam's releases except Steel Fury and Achtung Panzer, but I've been playing Combat Mission more because it has better quality of life and infantry models (the ones in Graviteam and Tank Warfare are sometimes so trash I can't stand looking at them).
