  1. Those Dutch-style buildings look somewhat out of place in Berlin to my old eyes. But, still a good action shot.
  2. It was certainly a problem when the MG buildings were used in Final Blitzkrieg e.g. on the Aachen map. Hopefully the new patch will have fixed this. But, probably worth checking before you go any further.
  3. Some of the four and five story buildings have a door entry bug. Rather than going through the door, troops will enter the building through the side wall. I think it happens mainly with the tall houses that have a single round window in the roof space. When they are on their own it isn't too big a problem. But when they form a row, it can result in troops going all the way around the block to enter in through a back door.
  4. I don't want to throw a spanner in the works, but some of the buildings you are using were introduced in Market-Garden and might have the infamous door entry bug. Perhaps that would be worth testing out before you get too far into this project.
  5. I was hoping that it had been cured, but sadly not. I've just encountered it again in CMBN.
  6. Oh, thank you for explaining that. In the meantime, I have encountered my first technical hitch since 4.03 was released. One member of a five man fire team staying behind when his mates move away from a hedgerow, whilst I was playing "Turnbull's Stand". The following turn he slowly begins to crawl towards his mates. Not as annoying as the gap charging bug, but still not something you want happening when the enemy are closing in on you. And you are trying to get men off of the map.
  7. I wasn't making fun of you. I was asking a question, there is a difference. And at the time of "perfidious Albion" there were decent Englishmen such as Hazlitt, from my own home town. And I was happy to contribute to the repair of his grave in SoHo.
  8. By "she's" and "her" do you mean that your mod contains women fighting in the US army in WW2?
  9. "Singapore Bowling Federation". Would that be Crown Green, Flat-Green or Ten Pin?
  10. I suppose we grumble when our troops don't throw any grenades, then grumble if they throw too many. Ho hum. BFC can't please us all.
  11. There are three different versions of that engagement. The demo, the stand alone battle, and the opening mission of the Task Force Raff campaign. All take place on the same map, but have subtle differences. A great way to introduce someone to the game whichever one you play.
  12. Looks more like a casualty caused by shrapnel through the firing slit, than a bunker being "busted".
  13. Happy to oblige if you want to hear South Africans. Although this is just a tad post-war....
  14. Glad to see that it has reached the wilds of East Saxonia, wouldn't have wanted you lot coming down here to get your hands on it.
  15. I think that Dartford Mick and the Tax Dodgers had something to say about staying in the shadows. Although they were probably talking about Kentish heathland, rather than Norman bocage.
  16. Tried a few battles and the opening mission of The Scottish Corridor for a test. So far our old friend the hedgerow gap charge has failed to put in an appearance. Units are cowering, regaining their composure and then resuming the fight. Once I've finished my current RT campaign I'll be getting back to Normandy. Exits stage right singing "Oliver's Army" badly -->
  17. Sadly, far too much tree toggling in this episode. If it had looked like the above screenshots the whole way through it would have been nice.
  18. Just finished the 1st mission. Somewhat miffed that I didn't get any points for the FO objectives. Ho hum.
  19. A tune he ripped off from Idle Eric and the Rutbeats.
  20. "Pay it forward Karma" being the name of a Johnnie Lenin track when he was still a member to The Bolshevik Beat Boys. Later when he joined the Rubber Omo Washboard Band it became "instant Karma".
  21. I've never had a problem with this mission crashing. It might depend on which mods you are using as some of them are specific to the different regiments taking part in the campaign. although I would have thought that was simply immersion breaking rather than game breaking. So perhaps you need to check something other than the mods to find the cause.
