  1. "If it's taffs you're looking for you've come to the wrong country, Meneer."
  2. It takes the game up to the end of the war.
  3. The more information you give, the more likely you are to get help. Are you talking about US, German or Commonwealth mortars? And are they light, or medium?
  4. Being free doesn't make it any more historically accurate.
  5. "Mr Jorrocks, sir. Who the hell are these "Brits" that these here feckers keep going on about? I never met a single one all through the fecking war. You and the boys from Middlesex were "British", and me and the lads from the Free State were "Micks" . Now would yer'se like another "G" in yer "T" whilst I get meself another pint of black?"
  6. You will need some kind of screen capture, or video software. Hopefully the forumites who know about these things and have their own favourites will be along to help you shortly.
  7. The mortars rounds are landing between them and the nearest building, so I think blind panic is the culprit. But I will keep a save file, just in case anyone else has something similar happen.
  8. My first evidence of "gap charging" since installing v4.03 has arrived in Mission 9 (Hell in the Hedgerows) from the Montebourg campaign. A German team fleeing from my arty towards my troops to get cut down. I don't mind admitting that this is my 2nd attempt at this particular mission with the upgrade. The problem first time around being my tactics, rather than anything technical. I saw no evidence of "gap charging" in the previous eight missions . This might just be a case of troops panicking with mortar rounds landing right behind them, and having no escape other than running forwards.
  9. "Ah, Mr Jorrocks Sir, will yer'se take a listen to these 'ere fellas? "Stand-offish", me left foot. You always get yer round in, nothing "stand-offish" about you Sir. Although the Field Marshall is a bit of a tight wad, but that is only to be expected with an Anglican. As for the "Soviets", didn't the Bolsheviks do away with them in the 1920's?"
  10. I know. No one from my neck of the woods uses the word "kecks" unless we are extracting the urine.
  11. I always smile when I see "25 pounders" in the mission briefing. There used to be one near the entrance to the National Army Museum in Chelsea, I assume it is still there, but my last visit was about 15 years ago.
  12. Paddy sits in his Bedford bottle of Guinness in hand, "Will yer'se listen to these here feckers, they wouldn't have no 25-pounders if me and me mets didn't tow 'em".
  13. Having failed to stamp out "degenerate music" i.e. Jazz. Joseph Gob****e used Charlie to make propaganda tunes based on British dance band and US swing tunes.
  14. "Erika" and "Lili" get used when I'm playing FB as the Germans. But, Charlie and his Orchestra fill all the music slots for BN, FI and RT.
  15. Those Dutch-style buildings look somewhat out of place in Berlin to my old eyes. But, still a good action shot.
  16. It was certainly a problem when the MG buildings were used in Final Blitzkrieg e.g. on the Aachen map. Hopefully the new patch will have fixed this. But, probably worth checking before you go any further.
