Winner! The committee has just announced that we have a winner for the Stratton House Challenge Cup. Although the competition was meant to run for a full week, by correctly identifying Green Park as the nearest tube station to Stratton House (the UK residence of Queen Wilhelmina of The Netherlands during the war) Warts 'n' all wins outright. So congratulations to him, and many thanks to the other competitors. -

@Vacilllator Given that we are playing for the Stratton House Challenge Cup the Oranje-Nassau Court variant of Mornington Crescent is in operation. "Green Park" "Oh, that's a crafty one" -

Two points for the Puma in a Norman street. And I think that given the fact that you are the first to actually ask about Mornington Crescent you might deserve bonus points. "And what do points mean?" "Points mean prizes". As someone with far more talent than myself and his mates often said. -

@Vacilllator You've left it a tad late but you're welcome. Obviously "It's" is not the name of a wild animal. So you might want to try again. -

The full committee will convene this evening to debate the various disputes, and I would hate to prejudge their findings, especially given the complexity of the Mornington Crescent rules that the competition is using. My own inclinations are as follows... Greyhound acceptable given as how wild they can get if you try to take away their bone. M10 in Dreux unacceptable as there is some dispute as to when the nickname Wolverine was coined, and in CMBN is is only used for the M10 used by the Limeys, Canucks and Poles. Berlin Zoo Tower unacceptable as it falls outside of the playing area. -

Rigged? How dare you Sir. "Stinkpot" is a very old reference to Little Jimmy Osmond and a BBC disc jockey, which I won't bore you with. Two points for the Wolverine photo. Well done. -

Hahaha. Sadly no point for the top one. Despite it's comedy value. But two points for the other one. -

I apologise for my misspelling of Marten as "Martin", which is of course a boy's name and not the animal. You therefore get the full two points. well done. -

Hahaha. Nope sorry, rules are rules. Under normal circumstances it would be Minus 1 for the Stuart, and Minus 1 for straying outside of the registered playing area. But seeing as how you are a nice bloke the committee will let you off of any penalty. -

A nice picture. But, sadly a Stinkpot doesn't count as "wildlife", and according to the Mornington Crescent rules which this particular cup competition is being played under Trieste falls outside of the geographical scope. -

@Wicky Nice try mate. But the marking system has be rigorously tested by the Cup committee and your appeal has been turned down, with regret. Also, Wicky scored 0 points for his most recent entry. (Wildlife 1, beach Minus 1) And therefore remains on 0 points. But, the committee have asked me to pass on their thanks to him for yet another gallant attempt, and wish him better luck next time. -

That may count as "in the street" for Worcestershire. But, not down here....
