  1. I was hoping that it had been cured, but sadly not. I've just encountered it again in CMBN.
  2. Oh, thank you for explaining that. In the meantime, I have encountered my first technical hitch since 4.03 was released. One member of a five man fire team staying behind when his mates move away from a hedgerow, whilst I was playing "Turnbull's Stand". The following turn he slowly begins to crawl towards his mates. Not as annoying as the gap charging bug, but still not something you want happening when the enemy are closing in on you. And you are trying to get men off of the map.
  3. I wasn't making fun of you. I was asking a question, there is a difference. And at the time of "perfidious Albion" there were decent Englishmen such as Hazlitt, from my own home town. And I was happy to contribute to the repair of his grave in SoHo.
  4. By "she's" and "her" do you mean that your mod contains women fighting in the US army in WW2?
  5. "Singapore Bowling Federation". Would that be Crown Green, Flat-Green or Ten Pin?
  6. I suppose we grumble when our troops don't throw any grenades, then grumble if they throw too many. Ho hum. BFC can't please us all.
  7. There are three different versions of that engagement. The demo, the stand alone battle, and the opening mission of the Task Force Raff campaign. All take place on the same map, but have subtle differences. A great way to introduce someone to the game whichever one you play.
  8. Looks more like a casualty caused by shrapnel through the firing slit, than a bunker being "busted".
  9. Happy to oblige if you want to hear South Africans. Although this is just a tad post-war....
  10. Glad to see that it has reached the wilds of East Saxonia, wouldn't have wanted you lot coming down here to get your hands on it.
  11. I think that Dartford Mick and the Tax Dodgers had something to say about staying in the shadows. Although they were probably talking about Kentish heathland, rather than Norman bocage.
  12. Tried a few battles and the opening mission of The Scottish Corridor for a test. So far our old friend the hedgerow gap charge has failed to put in an appearance. Units are cowering, regaining their composure and then resuming the fight. Once I've finished my current RT campaign I'll be getting back to Normandy. Exits stage right singing "Oliver's Army" badly -->
  13. Sadly, far too much tree toggling in this episode. If it had looked like the above screenshots the whole way through it would have been nice.
  14. Just finished the 1st mission. Somewhat miffed that I didn't get any points for the FO objectives. Ho hum.
  15. A tune he ripped off from Idle Eric and the Rutbeats.
  16. "Pay it forward Karma" being the name of a Johnnie Lenin track when he was still a member to The Bolshevik Beat Boys. Later when he joined the Rubber Omo Washboard Band it became "instant Karma".
  17. I've never had a problem with this mission crashing. It might depend on which mods you are using as some of them are specific to the different regiments taking part in the campaign. although I would have thought that was simply immersion breaking rather than game breaking. So perhaps you need to check something other than the mods to find the cause.
  18. Love the colours in the above overhead. I might well have been sporting dayglo pink and green when I saw Declan back in '78.
  19. I suspect that there might be some members of "the community" who couldn't give a monkey's about an update, because it is blinding obvious from the fact that Declan and The Colonial One are providing AARs for us to watch that things are coming along quite nicely.
  20. Only three years late. But it's time to give this a whirl. Oh, a night mission in a mine field. Joy of joys.
  21. As used by Bungalow Bill .. allegedly.
