  1. @3j2m7... Don't worry it isn't easy getting a joke across in another language. Console yourself with the thought that no one in the English speaking world brews a strong ale to match Trappist Rochefort 10.
  2. Yes, it is annoying when you do your best to avoid it and it still crops up.
  3. There have been quite a few threads about this problem in recent years, so you are definitely not alone in your frustration. All doors are real doors, but sadly don't always work as they should. If you use the "search" facility you should find the answers you need regarding the different modules that the problem occurs in.
  4. Normally my troops go through the door I want them to use. There are a couple of buildings that are problematic. Then of course, there are sometimes cases when elevation comes into play. A building on a slope can have a door blocked without the scenario designer even noticing. Grrrrrrrrr.
  5. I was nice of you guys to pitch in. I wouldn't have even noticed myself.I'm one of those people who either have tank crews hide, or I send them to the rear then forget about them. In the meantime I think that my suggestion for the Semovente mod might be easier said than done. The actual vehicle would be OK for our modders, but then they'd have to mod the crew's uniform and voices. I don't even know how many of them the Germans pressed into service, although I expect John Kettler knows the exact amount and what the panzer crews had for their breakfast.
  6. I took a quick look in my "z" folder and found benparks mod. Fired up a mission and had a tank crew bale out, two out of the five were wearing jerkins. Goes to show how much attention I pay to crews, probably too annoyed about the tank getting taken out. Although in my defence the modded jerkin does lack the sheen of the jerkins worn by these guys, probably a very difficult thing to achieve.
  7. Given that I don't speak USatian I don't have any "issues", although I do have some old maps of my home town where springs are indicated by the word "issues". As for the US units provided to the Germans in this battle, they come in the scenario editor for Final Blitzkrieg to help designers recreate Panzer Brigade 150.
  8. I didn't know that, shall have to check my Mod House sometime.
  9. An interesting picture which might prove to be a bit of a challenge, or two, for the mod boys. I don't think we yet have a British tanker leather jerkin in the game. And I've yet to see a Semovente 75/18 with German markings.
  10. @Erwin I enjoyed it as both the US and the Axis, obviously it's been a fair while since I played this battle. Checking my results log, I lost as Axis vs the AI. So it will no doubt get another go sometime.
  11. Without giving too much away. A two-hour battle on a larger map. Also, if you play as the Germans, you get some US equipment to play with. So I would say, similar enough to the original for for fans of the first one to enjoy, and different enough to make it interesting in it's own right.
  12. There is also a second battle entitled "Another Road to Wiltz", sadly I can't remember the author, but it should be on Booties website.
  13. It depends on what level you are playing. For example, on "Iron" if you click on an individual unit you will only have a solid contact icon for the friendly units it can see. It is something you can experiment with, tanks even if buttoned down will be able to keep sight of units behind for a certain amount of time via the cupola. infantry teams, squads etc will be able to see a certain distance behind them before losing contact.
  14. Perhaps a screen shot showing the Mortar Section HQ's UI will help people who would be able to offer advice.
  15. Sadly, the problem with the building type in the picture was never fixed. And they even crop up in Final Blitzkrieg.
  16. "And at number one, it's Combat Mission. Not 'alf, pop pickers" ...
  17. This seems very strange. I've never seen any US troops trying to flee the map. I've played it three times, and scored three Totals. When you say "failed", what was the actual result?
  18. With CM videos that look like they were filmed in Europe rather than on the purple planet getting rarer, this is a welcome addition.
  19. Ah, Royal Enfield, where Lizzie Saxe - Coburg und Gotha keeps her chickens.
  20. Oh dear, someone can't accept honest criticism. As for being banned from your yt channel, NO, I didn't know that I had been. I no longer bother watching because you insist on making the game look so ugly, for some strange reason.. Stay safe.
